Chapter Thirty

"I'm really sorry about Niles, Aaron. I had no idea he would be part of this- this group," the second in command at the police station apologized.
"We have a team up in London, too. They'll be on guard until they find her," Hotch replied. He look back at the office, his team was still digging through the downloaded files.
"Did Niles have any other connections? Possibly to a guy name Nazar? Nazar was located down in Texas for the homicides of ten women. He escaped a couple of days ago. There's been no word about him," Hotch asked the officer who went by the name of Haymen.
"Is this Nazar fella an associate of YN's? " Officer Haymen asked.
"He was her police partner but she ended up arresting him. There just seems something out of place. This whole hostage situation seems jumbled up, I just don't know," Hotch said as Reid burged out of the office, holding up a tablet.
"What do you have kid?" Hotch asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Usually, I'm not a fan of using electronics, but more of a textbook guy-"
"Spit it out, Reid," Hotch said as he crossed his arms.
""But technology seems to be such a wonderful thing now. I mean, who knew Agent YN had a kid?" Reid said, chuckling in what seemed to be shock.
"What information do we have about the child?" Hotch asked as he looked at Reid's tablet.
"Absolutely nothing. Just about an adoption placement three years ago. The files been encrypted. Garcia's trying to get through it," Reid replied still chuckling slightly.
"As soon as Garcia gets the file, get a location on the child. We need to know if it's safe or not," Hotch told Reid as Reid started to head back to the office.
"Oh and good job, genius," Hotch said, giving a smirk.
"You weren't aware that one of your agent's had a child?" The officer looked slightly bewildered.
"No, no, I wasn't," Hotch replied to Officer Haymen.

"We'll be landing soon, my dear," Nazar said as he started to gather his bags.
You looked out the window and saw the sun beaming down on Big Ben. You were so used to hearing Hotch telling you when the jet would be landing, but now it was a helicopter and you didn't have the team with you.
The helicopter started to descend, lower to the ground.
"Why have a jet when you could have a helicopter?" Nazar laughed, you felt as though that "insult" was directed towards you somehow.
You didn't reply to his question, feeling as though it was rhetorical.
"There'll be someone to escort us to our cottage," Nazar said as the helicopter landed.
"Cottage?" You replied. You didn't mind camping but this was really not what you were expecting with Nazar. You hoped you would be out in the open, somewhere with people.
"It's along the countryside," Nazar commented as the helicopter turned off.
"Well, I bet it'll be beautiful," you say with full sarcasm and Nazar glared at you for it.
You were the first of the helicopter. There was defiently a team, mostly males but one female was there. You were on top of a building you didn't recognize. The female began walking over to you.
"I'm just going to explain to her what's going to happen, Nazar," the female said. Her face was covered by a baseball cap, her brown-blackish hair was pulled back in a ponytail.
"What exactly is going to happen?" You snap at the female.
"Listen,"the female grabbed your arms slightly, pushing you away from the others, "my name's Prentiss. That's my team over there. You're safe." You didn't know whether or not to trust her.
"How do I know-"
And before you could finish your question, Nazar had handcuffs on him.
