"What are you so deep in thought about, YN?" You turn your head towards the back if the SUV. You saw Rossi with a slight smirk under his moustache.
"What are you smirking about Rossi?" You slightly snap back. Rossi always gave you hard time, but you didn't mind.
"Just about the good old days," Rossi replied sarcastically. You gave a side glance to Morgan. He was drumming his fingers on the wheel.
"You haven't said much about the case," You say to Morgan.
"Not much to say. Just a typical killler," Morgan shrugged his shoulders as turned into the school parking lot.
"I'm going to check out the soccer field. Did you and Rossi want to check out the school?" You asked them.
"Sure. We'll call you if we have anything. You do the same," Morgan replied as the three of you got out of the vehicle.
The three of you parted ways as you made way up to the soccer field. It was a typical school day, so the parking lot was busy. You got to the entrance of the soccer field and struggled to get the gate open. It was old, rusted and you had to use force to get it open. You saw a soccer ball in the middle of field. A forest surronded the west side of the school. You made your way to the center of the field is placed your foot on top of the soccer ball. You contemplated kicking it into the net. Looking around it didn't appear as if anyone were around. You backed up a little bit and ran. You twirled around the ball as if there was an opposing team and then kicked it into the net. The sound of the swoosh of the net was interuppted by clapping.
You turned around and saw Drew Niles in a coaching outfit.
"You used to play didn't you?" You noticed his young features. Maybe out of college for about five years? You thought to yourself.
"Yea," you gave a slight chuckle, "I try to keep that a hidden talent."
"I saw some of your team back at the school. Think there might be something here worth investigating?" Drew asked.
"I don't know. Something just doesn't appear to be right," You tell him as you checked your watch.
"Well, you may be right again," You heard Drew say before he knocked you to the ground. Before your eyes closed to unconscious, you saw a little boy running towards the school.
************
"Could we talk to Adam's art teacher? English teacher?" Rossi asked the front secretary.
"Sure. If you head down the hallway, the art teacher's room is the second door on the left and the English teacher's is the fifth," the secretary said as she got another phone call.
"Maybe the teachers have noticed something unusual with Adam's work-" Morgan was cut off by a boy sprinting down the hallway.
Rossi gave Morgan a queer look. The kid tried to get passed Morgan but he held up his hand to stop.
"Woah, woah woah, kid slow down. Take a breath. Is everything alright?" Morgan asked him as the boy took a couple of breaths.
"I just saw Coach Niles hit a woman," the out of breath kid replied.
"Are you sure?" The kid nodded yes. "Go to office and stay there," Morgan told him as he and Rossi started running out the back.
"Niles... that's the head investigator right?" Morgan asked Rossi.
"Yea, and also Adam's soccer coach," Rossi answer.
The two made their way to the soccer field but found is isolated.
"YN's gone," Morgan said as Rossi immediately took out his cell phone.
"I'm calling Hotch," Rossi had already dialed the number.
