"I need help, I need help. I'm sick," You saw Phillip keep repeating that mantra over and over with his hands covering his ears.
The children were frightened by your appearance but you gave them a smile that would hopefully comfort them.
"Let me help. I can help you," You say, from a distance.
"I don't know you," Phillip replied as he looked up at you. He was exactly what you imagined a psychopath would look like.
"My name is YN. Tell me what you need help with," You say in a calm voice.
"The voices. They told me, they told me to sacrifice these children for the gods. The gods will give me power after when I sacrifice them," Phillip said, stuttering some of his words.
"The voices, I hear them too, just not like how you do. There's a way you can defeat those voices. A way to defeat your illness," You were totally making up lies and you felt bad. First things first, you needed those children out.
"How? How do I get rid of the voices?" Phillip had turned back around so you figured now would be the best time to call Hotch so he could hopefully hear the conversation.
"You have to let these children go. Being on a train isn't going to help sacrifice them. If we get them out, I can help you take them to a place of honor," you lied yet again. You completely had no idea what you were doing and prayed that everything would turn out fine.
"Place of honor?" Phillip mumbled as he turned back around.
"You know, like a church or holy ground," you insisted as Phillip thought.
"How do I know that you're not going to use them as your sacrifice? You could be stealing from me," Phillip said, gritting his teeth.
"You hold me back. You go with the children as well. Look, I even have handcuffs," you say, sliding the handcuffs over to him.
Phillip paced back and forth for what seemed like eternity. He finally looked at you and that was when you knew he made the final decision.
"Ok, ok," he said as he slowly picked up the handcuffs and walked over to you.
He grabbed your wrists as he handcuffed them to the one of the seats on the train, making you sit.
Your life almost flashed before your eyes when you saw that he pulled out his gun.
"Phillip, put the gun down and go. Go make the sacrifice. Don't waste your time on me," you did your best not to plead.
"I still don't trust you,"Phillip said, aiming the gun right at your temple.
"It's fine, it's fine," you say, dropping a small hint to Hotch.
"Bless you for helping me make this sacrifice. Children, let's go. Let's go to the holy ground," Phillip said as he opened the train doors. He was instantly taken down by the hostage team as the other rescuers helped the children.
"What the hell?" You couldn't tell whether or not if Hotch was angry or was praising you. You anxiously watched as he unlocked the handcuffs.
"The hostage team is going to want to have a word with you. I'm going to tell the team what's happening," Hotch said as he left the train. You couldn't help but smile like crazy. That smile ended; however when you felt a fist punch you right in the left eye. As you got up, you saw Hotch running back towards you. You gasped as you saw a man, the one who punched you, behind you. Before you knew it, you saw the train doors close and the train catching up to speed.
