Zabdiel De Jesús es parte de la competencia La Banda y está luchando por sus sueños para llegar a la banda final que será CNCO. Dos años antes cuando apenas eran unos adolescentes, conoció a Camila Casillas, una chica que el llama el amor de su vida...
Joel, Richard, Erick, Christopher and I arrived together at the studios pretty early. Once we got there we got dressed to do our appearance on Despierta América. Soon we're done with our interview and appearance on that show.
Now it's the afternoon and we're taking a lunch break because we're now going to be on El Gordo y La Flaca. I'm excited because I'm going to see Camila.
I don't know where the rest of the guys went so Erick and I are left alone in the break room. When he got chosen to be part of the band, we hugged and I told him I was happy for him but right now I want to have a real conversation with him. I haven't had a real conversation with him since Camila broke up with him and the times we've talked including last night and this morning have been with the rest of the guys.
"Qué pasa loco?" I half smile at him. He stops whatever he's doing on his phone and looks at me.
"Hola, Zabdi ." Erick smiles.
"Que chevere que estamos en esta banda juntos era algo que queríamos, ¿no?" I say.
"Por su puesto y ahora nuestro sueño por fin se nos cumplió." He says.
"¿Como estas?" I ask him. Yo me preocupe por Erick y quiero lo mejor para el, necesito saber que está bien.
"Obvio que súper bien digo soy parte de CNCO!" He chuckles.
"Me refiero que si estás bien después de todo lo que pasó con Camila." I remark.
"Ah de eso te refieres... Pues estoy bien, enfocado en mi carrera. Estuve muy triste el día que terminó conmigo pero pensé la cosas. Ella siempre estuvo enamorada de ti y eso nunca lo pude cambiar." He admits. "Todavía estoy muy chico." He adds.
"No quiero que haya ningún rencor por lo que pasó." I say.
"No habrá. Ahora ya sé por lo que pasaron tú y Camila. Yo te quiero mucho a ti y a Camila y ya merecían estar felices y yo solo estaba en el camino." He says. "Sin resentimientos."
How is Erick only fourteen, well soon to be fifteen? He's handling all of this so well and he's being super mature something I don't think I could've done. He's the complete opposite of petty.
"Esto se significa mucho para mí y gracias por tratar a Cami como una princesa. Erick, nunca te pedí perdón," I begin. "Ese día que nos agarramos a golpes en casa de Johann... Yo fui el que empezó, perdóname."
"Solo te perdono si tú me perdonas a mi."
I smile and high five him and then go in for a hug and we pat each other's back. Erick playfully pushes me and I push him back.
"Round 2 o que?" He laughs.
"No porque la última vez me dejaste el ojo bien jodido." I chuckle.
"No te hagas la víctima, tú me jodiste la nariz." He chuckles as well.
"De que se están riendo locos?" Richard says as him, Joel, and Christopher walk into the room.
"De tontadas nomás." I reply.
"Chicos ya tenemos que estar en el set." Joel reminds us and we all walk to the set.
"A trabajar, Zabdilucho." Erick laughs and playfully pushes me to the side.
Camila
"Les demos la bienvenida a estos jóvenes talentosos... Vamos a darle el aplauso a CNCO!" Lili Estefan says and the boys come out.
When it's the boys turn to greet me with a kiss on the cheek, Zabdiel winks at me after. We all take our seats on the white sofa after for their interview.
"Los ganadores de La Banda! Ya se los a dicho como un millón de veces pero felicidades!" I clap and congratulate them again and the boys thank me.
After CNCO talks to us about how happy and blessed they are, Raul de Molina asks. "Quien de CNCO está soltero?" I immediately give Zabdiel a look.
"¡Toditos!" Zabdiel speaks for all of them.
"Sí, primero hay que enfocarnos en la carrera y luego en andar de novio." Richard nervously adds.
"Entonces explícanos esto Camila y Zabdiel." Raul de Molina says and then they play on the large screen the interview I did last night with Zabdiel where he kissed me.
"Estaba súper emocionado y feliz anoche, no tienen idea, y Camila es una belleza so lo hizo por la adrenalina que tenía deber logrado estar en la banda." Zabdiel explains.
"De hecho Zabdiel me pidió disculpas a noche por lo que pasó por que fue algo muy inesperado. Les aclaro que no hay nada. Así que ya párenle de chismosos." I laugh and so does everybody.
It's so hard to deny that there's nothing going on between Zabdiel and I when I'm looking at him right now and he's smiling with his beautiful dimple. We'll go public one day but not anytime soon.
Thankfully the topic is changed and we go on with the interview. The show soon comes to an end and after the show we take pictures with the boys.
"Me da mucho gusto ver a ti y a Zabdi como antes." I say to Erick when the rest of the boys are doing something else.
"A mí también." Erick says. "Ya hablamos y aclaramos todo."
"¿Me perdonas? Por favor, dime que me perdonas." I blurt out.
"Cami, yo no tengo nada que perdonarte." He says.
"¿Empecemos de cero?" I say referring to our friendship.
"Me encantaría." He smiles and we hug. This hug isn't tense like the one from yesterday.
"Gracias por todo." I say after the hug.
Zabdiel and Joel join us and Zabdiel stands next to me.
"Se ven muy bien juntos." Erick says to Zabdiel and I and I know he meant it.
