Chapter 77: Moments Like These

As I'm having breakfast, Zabdiel calls me.
"Buenos días, mi amor." I answer the phone.

"Buenos días, bebe." I know he's smiling. "¿Que haces?"

"Aquí desayunando sola." I sigh. I know he'll be busy most of today. "¿Y tú?"

"Manejando a la disquera." He replies.

"Me da mucho gusto. ¿A qué horas te desocupas?"

"Como a las seis. ¿Que tienes planeado hacer?" He asks.

"Ya sé que es muy tarde pero estaba súper ocupada todo este mes, ¿quería saber si querías ayudarme a poner el árbol de Navidad?" I ask him. "Ósea decorarlo juntos."

"¡Que linda, mi Camila! Claro, me encantaría ayudarte." He says.

"Ok pues te veo más noche. Ya no te molesto más, suerte!" I say.

"Ay nos vemos mi amor, bye." He says and the call ends.

Since I have the whole day off, I get ready and go to Aventura Mall by myself. I hope I find Zabdiel something for Christmas. I haven't bought my family any Christmas gifts but I'll do it in Los Angeles because I don't want to deal with the stress of carrying their gifts in the airport.

After hours at the mall I end up getting Zabdiel a PS4, a Nike hoodie, and a Giorgio Armani Acqua di Giò cologne.

I get Chipotle at the food court and then drive home. Once I'm home, I wrap Zabdiel's gifts from wrapping paper I had at home.

At eight, I hear a knock on my front door and I already know it's Zabdiel. When I open the door he's holding one small wrapped box and two medium wrapped boxes.

"Perdón si vine tan tarde amor es que te fui a comprar unos regalitos a última hora." Zabdiel says to me as he's coming in.

"Yo también te fui a comprar tu regalo de Navidad." I confess.

"¡Tan linda como siempre mi bebe! ¿Quieres abrir tus regalos?" He asks me.

"Porque no los abrimos mi última noche aquí en Miami. Como me voy el 21, porque no los abro el día antes que es este domingo." I suggest. "Y también abrirás tus regalos."

"Vale, pasar el tiempo contigo es más importante que los regalos." He smiles. "¿Empezamos a decorar el árbol?"

"Vamos por el árbol pues. Está en el garage." I say and we walk to the garage.

"Te advierto que la caja donde está el árbol esta súper pesada." I tell Zabdiel once we're in the garage.

"Pesada para ti pero para mí no baby." He says and as soon as he picks up the box where the tree is in, he struggles and I laugh at him.

"Ves lo que pasa por creído." I tease him. Even though he struggles, he manages to take the box where the Christmas tree is in to the main living room.

The whole time we are decorating the tree, we are laughing. Zabdiel is horrible at decorating the tree so I playfully scold him and then help him. The last thing we need to do is put the star on top of the tall tree so I get on Zabdiel's shoulders and I put the star on top.

"Misión cumplida!" I high five Zabdiel once we're finished.

"También dame un beso." He pouts and I give him a kiss.

"Voy a poner los regalos que me diste abajo del árbol." I say and go get the presents he gave me to put them under the tree.

"También pon los regalos míos abajo porfa." He says.

By the time I'm done putting the presents under the tree, I made hot chocolate for the both of us and we're cuddling on the large sofa with a blanket watching a random movie.

"Este chocolate no es lo único que está caliente." Zabdiel smirks and I almost spit out my hot chocolate.

"Te lo juro que no puedo contigo!" I cover my face and laugh.

I begin to kiss him all over his face and my small kisses soon become big passionate ones. I straddle his lap and we begin to make out as I run my hand up and down his chest. We are interrupted when Emily walks into the living room. Out of all the times she could've came home, she came at this moment.

"Oh my god sorry!" Emily mockingly covers her eyes with her hands. "Sorry por interrumpir este momento de telenovela! Me subo a mi cuarto y los dejos solitos!" She laughs and goes upstairs.

My mind goes back to when she walked in on me and Zabdiel having sex in my room. Qué vergüenza, que oso!

"Ya es tarde Zabdi, quiero que descanses para tener toda la energía cuando estén grabando." I tell him.

We kiss each other goodbye and Zabdiel leaves. Not long after he's gone, I go to my room and fall asleep.

I invited the boys over since I'm leaving Monday, in two days, but some were busy like Zabdiel who had to help his mom with the moving. Emily, Yoandri, Joel, Erick and I are all hanging out in my backyard.

I wish I could've seen Zabdiel today but I'll see him tomorrow. Joel and Yoandri thank me and hug me goodbye and then they leave. I walk Erick outside since he came in his dad's car.

"Casi se me olvidaba!" Erick exclaims. He opens the passenger seat of his car and takes out a present. "Esto es para ti."

"No tenías que hacerlo! Me siento muy mal, yo no te agarre nada." I sigh.

"No te preocupes Camila! Ábrelo." He hands the wrapped box to me. When I open the box, it's a Chanel No. 5 perfume.

"Soy pésimo en regalar cosas. Ya sabía que tenías este perfume pero no se..."

"¡Esta perfecto! Ya casi me acabo este perfume y lo bueno que me regalaste otro! ¡Muchas gracias, Erick!" I thank him and hug him. "Para mi, lo más importante es que te acordaste de mi, con eso ya soy feliz."

"No, gracias a ti por aceptarlo! Te compré un regalo para que sepas que yo todavía quiero la linda amistad que teníamos antes de todo." He says while we're hugging.

"Y la tendremos." I say.

"Gracias por todo, ya me tengo que ir. Espero que te vaya bien en tu viaje y pásatela súper bien con tu familia está Navidad! Y también espero verte pronto." He smiles.

"Iré con ustedes a Times Square." I announce.

"¡Que buena noticia! Entonces nos vemos en Año Nuevo." He gives me a friendly small kiss on the cheek. We say goodbye to each other and then he leaves.

I'm really excited for the holidays because I'll be visiting my family for Christmas and then I'll go with the boys to New York City to see them perform. The rest of my night is spent talking to Zabdiel on the phone until I fall asleep.
