Chapter 100: ¿Fin?

"¿Porque tienes esa carita triste mi amor?" I ask Camila as we're eating breakfast.

"Hoy salgo de los studios a las seis, no voy a ver a mi familia hasta esa hora cuando regrese a casa." Camila sighs. Her parents and brother are supposed to come at around one in the afternoon.

"Pues no vayas a trabajar." I say.

"Hoy no puedo faltar y además eso no sería nada profesional de mi parte." She says.

"Es cierto, mejor vete a trabajar." I say for my benefit. If she's not here, it means that I can talk to her family in private and ask for her hand to marry her.

"Híjole, ya me tengo que ir!" She stands up quickly and begins to walk away as I'm still sitting down eating my breakfast.

"Ey, ey! A dónde crees que vas? Y mi beso?" I point to my lips and smirk. She gladly walks back to me.

"Bye, mi amor." She says as she gives me my kiss.

"Adiós, que te vaya muy bien mi amor. Te espero más noche mamacita!" I say to her and give her another kiss.

As she's walking away from me, I just stare and admire her beautiful figure.

"Ya párale de verme las nalgas!" She scolds me when she turns around. I raise my arms innocently like I didn't do anything. She soon leaves and I'm home alone.

At twelve in the afternoon, Emily, William, and their daughter Valentina come to the house. They came since Miguel, Isabel, and Gerardo will be coming here at around one. Now that Emily and William are here, I think it's the perfect time to tell them about my plans.

"Denme un momentito." I excuse myself from them while we're in the living room to go outside. Once I'm outside, I go to my car to get the bag that Camila's engagement ring is in.

"¿Qué traes ahí?" Emily asks me when I'm in the living room.

"El anillo de compromiso para Camila." I reply.

"¡Ay, qué emoción!" Emily says happily.

"Quiero pedirle matrimonio a Camila frente a todos ustedes... ¿Qué piensas?" I ask her.

"¡Por mi, que se casen! Pero la opinión que cuenta es de mis padres." She says. "¿Como le vas a pedir matrimonio?"

"Creo que aquí junto a su familia, que es lo más importante o estoy pensando a que todos vayamos a un restaurante y allá se lo pido." I explain.

"Eso estaría bien." She says. "Pensé de lo cursi que eres ibas a hacer algo exagerado." She laughs.

"Tampoco me voy a tirar de un árbol o algo así." I laugh.

I thought of doing something extreme but I know Camila would just be happy with a simple proposal, as long as her family is there. Well I just hope she even accepts to begin with.

"¡Mama, papá!" Emily says to her parents excitedly when they come into the house.

"¡Como extrañaba a mi nietesita!" Miguel says while now holding Valentina.

"Van a tener que venir a Los Angeles por un tiempo para ver más a Valentina." Isabel tells Emily and William.
