The only being Ren has created that obtained all of his knowledge is Pterrol. All other creations, including Yin, Yang, and the Thunder Brothers only inherent what Ren wants them to know/remember.
This is why Yin and Yang haven't showed Ray and the others about his lair - they have no recollection of his whereabouts.
