The Mekai were originally from a continent named Nomekia. They thrived within Nomekia for a few centuries. Then, out of nowhere, The Great Migration happened.
The Great Migration was simply the Mekai leaving their nation and scattering all across the globe, settling in all other areas of the world.
A couple millennia later and no one knows why Nomekia was abandoned nor where the continent once stood.
