Jealous in love

Connie sat at her desk skimming through various different files and checking her watch every five seconds. Jacob's shift started at 10 and it was now 9:50. She had no idea how today was going to work out. Will it be awkward? Most likely, but Connie will try and treat today as a normal day. 
She looked up to see Jacob walking past her office, wearing a tight black t-shirt and dark coloured jeans. She got out of her seat and headed outside her office.
Jacob went straight to the staff room, which was unusual because he's always chatting for ten minutes before he actually gets changed. "Connie, man in cubicles, fell down the stairs. Could you check him over for me?" Robyn asked.
"Yes of course" she made her way to cubicles trying to get her work head on and trying to stop thinking about Jacob. She pulled open the curtains to cubicles where a man lay on the bed holding his ribs. Connie picked up his notes at the end of the bed, "hello Mr.Jacobs," convenient name she thought. "I will be the doctor treating you today, so can you tell me where the pain is?" Just as she finished that sentence, Jacob walked into the cubicle next to her to treat the female patient lying on the bed.
The pair glanced at each other and then focused on their own patients.
"The pain's all gone now your here Dr." He said with a creepy wink. "Wow you must be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."
"Thank you but-"
"Do you have a map, because I'm lost in your eyes. Jacob was watching the two out of the corner of his eye, jealously was building up in him rapidly.
Connie cringed at the last comment. She didn't notice Jacob getting even more annoyed at her comment, "I'm flattered, but I really have to treat you now." She skimmed through the notes one last time, "so you've been for an X-Ray. Ok I'm going to find out where the results have got to." As she was walking away, the man grabbed her wrist tightly. Connie gasped, startled.
Jacob moved away from his patient and stormed over to the man holding on to Connie's wrist. "Get your hands off her right now!" He said through gritted teeth, fists clenched.
"Ooo what happened to you big guy, get beaten up?" He said looking at Jacob's black and blue eye. "And i was only checking to see if this lovely doctor had a ring on it yet." Mr. Jacobs released Connie's wrist. Jacob looked into Connie's eyes for a moment.
"Are you ok?"he asked sympathetically.
Connie nodded gazing back into his eyes, "yeah I need to go and get some results."
"Oh right yeah sorry." He said, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. Connie walked out of cubicles biting her lip and Jacob moved back over to continue treating his patient.
