"Awh J, look at how cute this is." Connie held up an adorable light blue baby grow that had a bear design on the front.
"It's cute, but my boy's gonna need something way bigger then that. He's going to be a rugby player or a basket baller, so i think we may as well just buy toddler sizes for him now." Jacob was getting carried away with the thought of his future son.
"And what if he wants to be a dancer?" Connie smirked at him standing in the clothes isle of Mothercare.
"Yeah well that's cool too." He took Connie's arm and pulled her in towards him, so that their chest's were touching. Connie reached up and kissed him on the lips.
"I love you Jacob Masters." She said pulling away and gazing into his big brown eyes.
"I love you more Connie Beauchamp." Jacob picked her up and spun her around. Connie laughed when Jacob put her down.
They carried on their baby shop. After finding out that they were having a boy, they left work early and decided to go shopping before Grace got home from school. Once they bought a few baby grows, a cot and changing mat, they decided to leave the rest to do with Grace another day and headed off home together.

Grace would be home any minute now. Connie sat on the sofa with Jacob, and they couldn't stop thinking about their beautiful baby boy that they'd be holding in the next few months. "Have you thought about any names yet?" Jacob asked holding Connie's hand on the sofa.
"I like Joey. What about you?"
"Yeah Joey or Mikey. What do you prefer?"
"Awh I love both." The conversation was interrupted by the sound of a key turn in the door. "She's here." Connie excitedly for up to greet Grace at the door.

"Hey sweetie, how was school?" Connie hugged Grace.
"It was great, I got an A* in my science exam. Before you know it I'll be a better doctor than you!" Connie and Jacob smiled at her.
"That's excellent Gracie I'm so proud of you." Said Connie.
"Yeah well done Firecracker!" Jacob smiled.
"Oh yeah! I totally forgot, did you find out what the sex is?" Grace asked.
"Sorry Grace we decided to keep it as a surprise." Jacob teased, knowing that Grace had literally begged them to find out what the baby was going to be. Connie bit her lip to stop herself from laughing at Grace's reaction.
"Are you joking? You guys are so boring, we can only buy neutral coloured stuff now when we go shopping!" Grace crossed her arms in annoyance.
"Well that's lucky we were joking then, because your gonna have a baby brother Grace." Connie smiled.
"Oh my god! Thank god you were joking, I'm so excited!" Grace hugged her mum and Jacob.

The family enjoyed a Friday night watching movies and eating pizza together. Everyone was so happy. When Grace fell asleep on the sofa Jacob carried her up to bed and Connie followed him upstairs, admiring him.
After a bit of fun in the bedroom, Connie and Jacob went to sleep too, looking forward to a busy day in the ED together.
