After Grace stormed out of the house, Connie insisted on Jacob staying. She made it clear that she wasn't going to loose him again, so Jacob stayed the night, comforting her as she tried to figure out what to do.

They both sat at the table eating a bowel of pasta that Jacob quickly knocked up. Jacob was starving and tucked into his pasta with red sauce, however Connie had lost her appetite, as she stared into the bowel in deep thought. "Hey, you've got to eat something." Said Jacob gently. He moved his hand across the table to hold hers. A tear trickled down Connie's cheek and she made no attempt to wipe them away. Jacob immediately got out of his seat and Connie stood up, feeling embarrassed.Jacob didn't care and just enveloped her in a hug. "Everything's going to work out, ok?"
Connie nodded into his chest as the tears became heavier and wet his t-shirt even more.

She couldn't figure out what to do and couldn't bare the thought of being alone tonight. Connie calmed down, but was still hugging Jacob tightly. "Stay with me." She sniffled looking up at him.
"I'll always stay with you, no matter what."
