Chapter 6: Party At OUR House

(...) "He's Lance Cross. My cousin." 

Cousin? 

"So why does he hate you so much? He said he wanted to kill you!" I raised my voice slightly, not wanting the neighbours to hear anything. 

Will shook his head. "It's none of your business." he said to me with...what was that? Anger? Worry? He exhaled loudly and ran to his room, banging the door hard and there was the sound of the door locking. 

I was too tired to argue with him, it was better to leave it all for the next day. I grabbed my backpack that I left in the game room and went up to my room. Usually back in dad's mansion, the whole place would be filled with dad and mom's constant laughter. At night, I would just listen to their laughters and sleep peacefully knowing my family was in the house. But that night was different, Will almsot got killed and that horrible flashback was enough to scare me. 

After turning the lights off, I quickly covered myself with the blanket. I could hear Will's voice in the next room and he didn't sound too happy. I wonder why was he like that just now and why did Lance wanted to kill him? Did he did something? So many questions running through my head.

Someone was poking me on the forehead. "Flower, wake up!" 

"My name is Fleur..." I waved whoever it was off. I wanted my beauty sleep and I did not appreciate being disturb. 

"Flower!" oh gosh someone was carrying me! My eyes snapped open realizing it I was carried by the waist and my head was facing someone's back. Blood was rushing to my head making me dizzy. 

"Will, put me down!" I screamed. I was the babysitter here! Not him!

"No can do, Flower! You have to help me!" he carried me to the kitchen and I saw lots of drinks on the dining table. What was he up to? 

When he finally put me down, I sat on the ground trying the stop my head from spinning. "Will, get dress for school first." I said while shaking my head. 

"Not going today. We're going to have a party at my house which means I need you to help me. The party is Ken's idea." What?! A party?

"No, we'll get expelled for this!" I stood up and grabbed Will by his collar, glaring. Getting expelled was the last thing I wanted, my parents would kill me for that. 

"Relax, Ken has it all covered." 

"Since when you and Ken are buddy buddy?" I raised an eyebrow. I knew Will was popular in school and so was Ken. But won't Ken see Will as a competition? But then again, I hardly knew them. So I wouldn't know if Ken was actually scheming something.

"That's none of your business. Let's go get the supplies from the mall." he grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me out of the mansion towards a car. Wait, I didn't see this car yesterday..

"Borrowed. Come on." he pushed me into the front seat of the car. Wait, I hadn't tell Polly about the party! I was about to reach into my pocket for my cell phone but it was not there. "Looking for this?" he showed me my phone. I didn't even want to know how he took it out of pocket.
