We were eating cereals for breakfast when all of a sudden, Will's parents barged into the Tyler family mansion which scared the shit out of everyone. Mrs Cross looked so pale that I thought she might faint on the spot. Mr Cross was panicking and looking around for Will.
"William!" He quickly hugged his son, and Mrs Cross did the same.
What were they doing back here? A hundred days wasn't up!
"Mom, dad! What are you doing here?!" He began to push his parents off of him. They're smile from seeing him faltered and I almost felt bad for them. What were they doing here anyways? My parents didn't tell them, did they?!
"Will, why didn't you tell us about Lance?" Mr Cross asked his son in a stern voice.
Will did not respond which made me curious. Instead, he looked away and crossed his arms, refusing to even look at his parents.
"Mr and Mrs Cross?" Dad appeared and as usual, he was being too formal to guests. Mr and Mrs Cross were considered guests right...? Even if they did barge their way into the household. Which was kinda rude.
Mr Cross looked at my Dad and the both of them shook hands like they were old friends. Mrs Cross saw my mom who was standing behind my Dad and instantly smiled. The worriness in her shoulders were gone and her shoulders sagged.
"We didn't call the both of you here for you to worry about William. We want to discuss with you the current situation. And that everyone would be staying in the Tyler mansion until the problem with Lance is over." I had never seen mom so serious before. As she said those words, everyone looked at her, surprised. Even Dad looked a little surprise when mom went into full-serious mode. It was a little uncomfortable.
"Ah, yes. Of course." Mrs Cross elbowed her husband and the both of them followed my parents to the library. Honestly, the library had turned into an adult hangout. So now I couldn't even do my homework in there. They would even chase me out of the library if they were talking about 'the situation'.
As the door slammed shut, Will and I stared at each other before bursting into laughter.
"Dude, your mom is super scary when she's serious!"
"I know! I never seen her serious before!"
"Obviously your dad has."
I stopped laughing, obviously Dad had. I bet the last time she was serious was when she stopped the wedding between Avery and my dad.
"So what do you want to do today?"
"There's nothing much really. I'm bored and there's no school." He raised an eyebrow when I mentioned 'school'.
"Okay, how about I bring you to see a movie?"
"A movie?"
"Yeah. Like a date."
"A date?"
"Are you a parrot? Why do you keep repeating everything I say?"
"Fine, then let's not go!"
"I'm kidding, Fleur." Once again, he completely surprised me with the 'Fleur' thing. He must have caught my surprised look because he burst out laughing and clutched his stomach.
Jerk.
I playfully punched his gut and he let out a groan.
"Guys, don't you dare make out while we're over here!" Ken shouted from the other side of the table. I thought he wasn't listening! He was in a deep conversation with Polly earlier I thought he wouldn't hear us.
"Haha!" Polly laughed making me blush furiously.
Oh God.
"So what movie are we going to watch, Flower Power?"
