Yo, my exam's next week so I wouldn't be able to upload tomorrow and the day after probably. I'm also currently re-reading my storybooks 'cause I need more inspiration to write my current works.

Chapter 11
Here I was, in the back seat of a cab, being squeezed by three other teenagers and a bunch of luggages owned by none other than Polly. Ken and Will got window seats and the both of us girls were pressed together in the middle.
"Oh my gosh, Fleur! I couldn't believe I'm seeing you again! You didn't change one bit!" She clapped her hands in excitement and giggled making Will roll his eyes. I realized she'd went and gotten purple highlights on her hair and she was wearing the most expensive clothing that I wouldn't even be caught dead wearing.
"Polly, I changed a lot. Trust me. I have to introduce you to my other friends later once we get back to my apartment." I told her. I paused for awhile and said to Ken, "I hope you don't mind but Liv is living with me." He smirked and shook his head indicating that he was fine with whatever arrangement Polly and I had in mind.
I smiled, happy that Polly chose Ken over so many other boys. Back in high school, many boys adored her because of her nice attitude and pretty looks, which meant she could've chosen one of those boys instead of Ken. It's a great thing Polly chose Ken 'cause he knew everything that she'd been through when Lance was after her, and was someone that I knew. Polly knew better that if I don't approve of the guy, then he wouldn't be right for her.
"Oh right! Fleur, tell me how you ended up working for Will!" Her eyes flickered to Will before returning to look at me. I sighed and told her the whole story, starting from when I saw him at the restaurant, to the letter Will sent, to the night I saved Flower, and then to the moment when she called Will's office to talk to me. When I was done explaining to her the details of how I started working for Will, she nodded in understanding and remained silent, no response at all. Which was something I hadn't expect from Polly. Usually she would already be ranting on how cool it would be that I work for him, even though I could've work for my own dad.
The only reason why I wouldn't work for dad, was because the company was going to be Frank's after he graduates from college. And also because I don't plan on working in my own family company. To me, it felt like I didn't accomplish anything. Working for someone else, was entirely different because you would do work hard and strive for success...and maybe a chance of a promotion.

"I totally expected this." What Polly meant was, that she expected me to live in a messy apartment. (I'm a clean freak but sometimes I need to be messy too. Plus, I didn't have time to actually sort out of stuff.) The only room that would be clean were our bedrooms. Frank's a neat freak so he'd appreciate if his room was clean and spotless. Liv was more in the middle. I, on the other hand loved clean surroundings, but am not crazy like Frank to sacrifice my work time to clean the place up. Once, Frank skipped school just to clean his room. Usually kids would prefer school than cleaning their own room.
"Well, where are we gonna stay?" Ken asked, his eyes observing the place.
I gave him a look and pointed at the room accross the hall. The room was supposed to be a storage room but since Polly and Ken needed a place, I took the liberty to clean that room.
Polly found the invitation to last night's Office Dinner Party at Will's Penthouse and picked it up. "Hey! You guys had a dinner party?! Aw, tell me all about it!" She gave me those puppy-dog eyes and Ken just stiffled a laugh.
I glared at him and at the same time, I tried remembering what happened last night.

~ The Office Dinner~
I was standing in front of my bathroom mirror, getting nervous over that silly dinner party. I had no idea what to wear, or how to act and what should I bring. What if everyone wears extremely formal and we would be expected to dine in a very formal manner? I didn't learn a single thing about that back in high school!
There was a knock on the bathroom door, making me jump. "What?!" I shouted while I curled my hair.
"Girl, you've been in there for an hour! Are you making out with somebody?!" Liv's voice echoed.
"Eew! No! I'm really nervous about tonight..is all." And not to mention my boss who just happens to be engaged and the person I like, would be there. Flower would be there and might probably wear something really nice. She was pretty too, so it's expected that she'd catch a few guy employees' attention.
Would it catch Will's attention?
I shook my head and sighed. The door opened and Liv was holding a blue dress in her hand. She clicked her tongue and threw the dress at me. Before shutting the door, she said, "It's my favorite dress, don't ruin it for me."
Somewhere deep down that cold-hearted shell had to be a warm and kind girl. Way deep down.

The penthouse didn't have loud music blarring or the smell of alchohol reeking. Instead, soft classical music was playing and there were adults walking into the place. Cars were parked just right outside of the penthouse. I was standing outside of the gate, preparing myself and at the same time taking a deep breath while I could before I enter a world of adults and pressure. A petite looking girl was walking to my direction. She was wearing a black dress with silver patterns on it. At first I couldn't see her face, but I slowly could as she came closer.
Her blonde hair was let loose as it cascaded down her shoulders. "Hey Fleur, what are you doing outside?" Curiosity filled her eyes as she took a step closer and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Are you nervous or something?"
I sighed, there wasn't any use lying to Mich, not when she knew my situation.
"Flower's gonna be there and everyone thinks Will likes her just because they are engaged." I said, bluntly. Mich nodded in understanding and pulled by my wrist.
"Well in that case, you should relax and enjoy the food. It's not a teenage party so there won't be grinding or any of that shit." She giggled and started dragging me.

~Will~
"Oh! When we have kids, we could teach them piano! I know how to play the piano! What do you think, Will? Oh! We could even-" Will decided to ignore the girl's annoying continous babble. Actually, he'd done that minutes ago and was staring at the only girl in the room which mattered to him. Since the moment she entered into the penthouse, his gaze had been on her ever since. Not because she was wearing a dress which showed her long legs and the perfect shape of her body, but because of the way she smiled at him. He knew, he was the first one she smiled at from the moment she entered.
"Flo, excuse me for a sec, kay?" He excused himself, not bothered to wait for an answer. He made his way through the crowd and stopped in front of Fleur. She hadn't wore any make-up and yet she was stunning as usual. "You don't look half-bad." He gave her one of his boyish grins that he knew she loved the most. After all, he was the first one who kissed her, the one who knew how it's like to be the rich kid, the one who shared the love the both of them had.
"Huh. You don't look so bad yourself, Mr. Boss." She grinned and playfully punch his arm. He rubbed his arm and smirked at her. Even when they were adults, they still acted like childish teenagers.
The lights went out for a second, and that was all they needed.
He took the chance, he took the risk. With one swift motion, he bent and kissed her hard on the lips and quickly pulled away as the lights came on again. Maybe it was fate the lights went out, he thought.
