100 Days [Part 1&2]

Chapter 13

Note: I'm gonna try my best to make this story as long as possible for you guys! Cuz I don't really want it to end just yet, I really like Ms Nerd and Mr Jock, and 100 Days a lot! They are one of my favorite stories I've written. So...being the nice girl I am, I'm gonna write more...but I'm not telling you what it's about until this story ends :)

Chapter 13

~Sileen~

     I'm not going to lie, that girl was seriously pretty. Pretty enough to make me wanna swing the pan I'm holding right to that pretty face of hers. It was the second day she visited Starbucks. Sure, we do get regular rich customers who managed to afford buying drinks here almost every day, but this girl here was different. When Hemi turns his back on her, she would look at me from her seat and gave me this triumphant smile that I just want to slap. 

     "Hey Sil, you okay?" That familiar voice made me come out of my little violent daydream. He was standing behind me, smiling that cute smile of his, both dimples on his cheek showing. I sighed deeply and shook my head. 

     "I'm fine, we still have to work till night." I smiled back at him and went to get my bottle of water. As I walked, my brown curls that reached my shoulders bounced along. I could feel Hemi following me and I knew he was going to ask something. 

     "Well, Sil. I need to ask you a huge favor. And I'll only ask once, I'll never ask again in the future." There was a little guilt in his voice, I could tell. My smile on my lips faltered, fortunately my back was facing him so he didn't see that. I paused what I was doing as he continued, "Sil, I'm going on a date with Olivia and I was wondering if I could take the shift off for tonight. Just once, I'm not going to ask you again in the future, I promise! I'll even work this weekend!" 

     He was begging to go on a date with her?

     "Then that would leave me working alone for the night..." I wondered out loud. 

     I heard him sigh. "What about Autumn? Isn't she working tonight?" 

     I turned around and faced him, desperately controlling my tears from showing. "Okay, you can go. But before you go ask her to be your girlfriend and all that, I want you to have this." I stepped close to him, realizing that he was so much taller than me. 

     It's now or never.

     I step on my toes and planted a small kiss on his lips before quickly pulling away and walk away, leaving Hemi staring at me with surprise.

     "Hahaha!" Olivia laughed after I told her a stupid joke. It wasn't even that funny..

     What's wrong with me? I wasn't even paying attention to what she's saying. We're supposed to be on a date here! I've had my eye on her since yesterday and I wanted to ask her out since the moment I saw her. So why am I being so moody? 

     "Hemi, are you okay?" she said between little giggles. My attention snapped back to her. She saw my confused look and frowned. "What are you thinking about?" Her voice was sharp and accusing. I narrowed my eyes at her and felt a little more confused. Back at Starbucks, she was sweet and nice, had I been wrong? 

     "I'm...fine." I said, the same time the food came and the waitor placed Olivia's food first then mine. My spaghetti doesn't look that apetizing anymore, something was missing. Olivia had seriously no sense of humour, and she didn't even know anything about me. All she wanted to talk about was her only, and her life was pretty boring.
