A thirty minute break was given to each participant and let me tell you, at that moment I felt so tired after going through so many obstacles, I felt like my legs were going to fall and I would lose the whole entire competition. So far, Lance hadn't sold out my identity, maybe he was just amused that I had the guts to dress up like a guy. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Lance smirking at me and laughed. Was it that funny I was pretending to be a guy?

"Fleur!" Someone whispered my name and I turned around. Will, Ken and Jeff were in a group discussion and Will was waving me over. I threw my towel on the ground and trotted over to where they were. When I came close, Will pulled me closer to them and I could smell their sweats. Yuck.

"So what is it?" I pulled myself away from them a bit.

"We're winning, just after this little race, we would get number one." Jeff glanced at the score board and said. I smiled, that was a good thing. If we won it, that would mean we get to take some trophy, which meant I would be near the speaker. If I could just think of a way to expose Lance by making him accidentally confessing, that would be enough for him to go to jail. Or at least, lock up.

The four of us nodded in understanding and went to our positions to get ready for the next sport. Surprisingly it turned out to involve guns. Fake guns with fake bullets. Huh, interesting.

"Each team would have six people. When you get shot, you're out. This idea is by Lance Cross, an idea to end the sports competition. Have fun." The announcer said, but I wasn't actually paying attention. I loaded my fake gun and gave a questioning look at Will. What kind of sport was it? It was more of a game than a sport.

"One. Two. Three!" The game started and soon, fake bullets were shooting everywhere. One hit Jack, one of the guy in our team and he went down. Well, not really but he was out of the game though.

"Aim for the one in red." Will nodded at Chester, the guy who was in red. I accidentally spilled my drink at him a few minutes ago and his shirt was still wet. I felt a little guilty as I shoot at him and he was out. Before stepping out of the game, he glared at me and ran over to where Jack was standing. If only they knew I was a girl...

Suddenly, a cold metal was pressed against my side. "Hmm, Fleur, is it easier if I killed you in broad daylight?" Lance's familiar voice whispered into my ear.

"It's a fake gun, Lance. You can't kill me with it." I rolled my eyes and made a grab for the fake gun when all of a sudden, Lance pulled the trigger and there was a loud bang. My eyes widened as I realized Lance had a real gun. Blood was already dripping from my side and I clenched my fist, thanks to the pain.

I heard screams from other people and Will calling my name. My hands went to my side and I fell onto the ground. A pool of blood was already forming beside me and I could feel blood sticking on my hands.

"She's a girl! OhmyGod!" I heard a girl screamed as Will pulled my shirt and tore the bottom half. He wrapped it around the part where Lance shot me. "Fleur, stay with me. Don't you dare close your eyes."

Just trying to open my eyes was like trying to carry a boulder. I saw a few cops cuffing Lance's wrist. The last thing I saw was Lance laughing and shouting "Mission completed!" to himself. That guy needs to go to a hospital for lunatics.

I was placed on a stretcher with Will still grasping onto my hand. Memories of Will being brought to the hospital flashed through my eyes and I gasped.

"Fleur, relax. Everything's going to be fine." He said it so calmly but his face totally betrayed him. It would be a miracle if I survive this.

Soon, everything was white and my eyes grew more tired. A oxygen mask was given to me and the pain became numb.

"I'm sorry for Will." I heard Liv's voice, except that it was soft and kinda whispery. There was a slight pain at my side, where was I? I groaned and shifted my position. My eyes fluttered open and I took in my surroundings.

     I was in a plane.

Liv was sitting beside me, looking worried at me. Beside her was my mom. Tears were visible in her red eyes, like she was crying.

"Mom, what's wrong?" I reached out to touch her but I stopped when there was a pain at my side. My hands flew to my side. Memories of Lance shooting me flooded my head and my eyes widened as I gasped. Lance shot me! But I did remember Lance being taken away by two cops. Liv frowned at me.

"We're on a plane to New York. Your family thinks its best to start a new life. And I'm following." Liv explained and my mother just stayed silent. Start a new life? Where was Will? Where was Polly and Ken? Where was Jeff?!

"Honey, we're going to start a new life. We'll find you a job in your father's company, Liv would be your roommate if you want!" Mom forced a smile and her voice was shaky. Obviously she was going to miss our home.

I was going to miss Will.

     "Mom, why start over?"

"Idiot, your parents wouldn't want you to remember those horrible stuff that happened." Liv rolled her eyes and leaned back.

"I didn't get to say goodbye..." I whispered to myself, looking out the window. All I see was white clouds and no Will.

     We'll meet again...Will.

                                                                    TO BE CONTINUE...
