Chapter 15
~Fleur~
I was in the middle of a forest, my friends, Will and Flower surrounded me. Their backs were facing me instead of their faces.
"Will?" My hands was about to reach out for Will's shoulder, but stopped when I saw his expression as he turned around. Anger was plastered all over his face as he glared at me. His hand found Flower's and he held her hand tight, not letting go.
"Polly?" I turned to my best friend but she had the same expression Will had. Anger filled all my friend's eyes and so did Flower's. I slowly backed away from them and felt myself stopped breathing. Why were they angry with me? What had I done?
"You don't get it, do you?" Polly's voice was sharp but at the same time soft. The only thing that I could see on their faces were their frowns.
I gulped, and asked, "Get what?"
A low chuckle sounded from Will and then he continued to glare at me. "We don't like you, Fleur. Where have you been when I was breaking down the whole time? Do you know how broken I was?" There was sadness in his voice, eventhough his expression masked it. I felt my breath caught in my throat, I couldn't breathe.
"I didn't know-"
"That's right, Fleur. You never knew. You never cared."
"I do care!" I screamed, but my voice was echoed, thanks to the forest. All of their faces turned away from me and Will did the same.
"I DO CARE!" I screamed even more.
I woke up, after feeling someone shaking me. I sat up right away and began to process the things that happened in the dream. Someone was still shaking me, but I ignored whoever it was and closed my eyes and began to process.
In the dream, Will hated me. My friends hated me. And all of them loved Flower, not me.
"Flower. Flower! You okay? Say something." Will was shaking me, I could feel it. But for some reason, I couldn't turn my head and reply him. My voice was stuck in my throat while I was sweating buckets. All that stopped when Will placed his hands on both sides on my head and forced my head to turn to him. His eyes were red, there was a little black spot under both eyes and he looked completely worried.
"I'm okay...I'm okay...I'm okay." On the outside, it seems like I was telling him that to make him calm down, but in the inside, I knew I was saying those words to calm myself down, that I was really okay.
"You kept muttering 'I do care' when you sleep. And then you screamed and woke up. What's wrong?" Will draped an arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer so I was pressed up against him. His scent instantly filled my nostrils and I let myself calm down.
"It's a stupid nightmare." I stated.
"But that's not all, is it?" I looked at him, he was looking at my eyes. "I could tell, you won't go all scared like that if it was just a stupid nightmare."
"You and everyone else were in the dream. You told me that I never cared about you. I denied it, but all of you continued to hate me. Flower was there too, and all of you took her side. I started screaming and then I woke up. That's it." It really was. But that was seemed so real, especially the part where their expressions looked so genuine. It frightened me that they hated me in the dream.
"Flower, you're my only flower. It's just a nightmare." I felt his lips on my hair as he spoke. A sigh escaped my lips and I closed my eyes as I fall back to sleep. This time, without any nightmares, only sweet dreams consisting of Will and I.

I was walking down the same familiar street that leads to my work place. Last night was horrible, and I had no idea how to deal with Hemi if I see him again. I glanced at my watch and grimaced. I had to be with him for at least eight hours today.
"Ah, hell." I muttered under my breath when I unlocked the doors and entered. The place was extremely clean and everything was arranged neatly. The air smelled like daisies when I walked in and to my surprise, the music were already on. On the chalkboard where the usual 'specialty menu' were written on, there was a note attached.
I'm sorry, Sil. I'm sorry for leaving you last night alone, and I'm sorry you had to clean the place up alone. And I promise, I wasn't having fun at all last night. Could we be friends again? -H
I sighed and stuffed the note into my pocket. When I turned around, Hemi was standing there with his hands stuffed in his pocket. His eyes were staring on the ground, he looked like my Hemi again. The Hemi that was shy and cute. Before he met Olivia and turned into a stranger.
"We can start over." I told him and smiled. His eyes lifted from the ground and landed on me. He flashed a boyish grin at me and then lifted me from the ground as he turned around in circles, carrying me along.
"Let me down!" I shouted and laughed at the same time.
"Okay okay." He said and slowly put me down. Once I was stable, he held out a hand to me. I gave him a confused look and he smirked. "My name is Hemish, but you could call me Hemi. Nice to meet you, princess."
I lifted an eyebrow and smiled at the same time. I gripped his hand and shook it. "My name's Sileen. Nice to meet you too."
"You look like a girl I once knew."
"Yeah? You look like a guy I saved last night."
"Interesting, but I'm here to work, princess."
"Ah, then you should know I'm your boss, Hemi." I smirked.
He stiffled a laugh and responded, "Okay sure, lady boss."

"Are you going to the office retreat?" Mich asked me during office lunch hours. She was eating a turkey sandwich while I was having mushroom soup. The both of us were in her printing room, eating at a table that the both of us set up since the day I worked for Will. Ever since then, the both of us would eat at the table and gossip.
"What office retreat?" I looked up from my mushroom soup and gave her a confused look.
"The one that we have every year? Starting tomorrow, we're staying at a resort for three days and two nights. Didn't Will tell you anything about the retreat?" She raised an eyebrow suspiciously.
"No, nothing." In fact, Will hadn't tell me much about the company either.
"Huh. Well, maybe he has his reasons." She shrugged.
I didn't say anything. Something was awfully weird, and I wanted to find out what it was.
