(A/N)

Um. Hi. Me again... Um. This chapter, as it turns out, is almost exactly 2000 words xD

Also; There seems to be another TAATO civil war. So I just wanted to see where the majority was.

(P.S. you might wanna wait to answer after you've read this chapter ;))

TRAVIS?

OR

JAKE?

Ahhh okay. That's definitely gonna cause controversy.

*******

Scott turned at the sound of Travis' voice getting louder.

Todrick spoke up before Jake could retort. "Travis, please watch your tone. What on Earth are you two talking about?"

Alex looked up quickly. "It's my fault for being insubordinate."

Travis spoke afterwards. "No, that's not it. Jake is trying to force information out of him. Information that Alex is obviously not comfortable with sharing."

Jake shook his head once. "It doesn't matter. He's upset, and I'm worried about him. Which is a perfectly good reason to pry, since I'm the one that's supposed to protect him."

"But that doesn't mean you should take advantage of his submission. If he doesn't want to talk about it, then drop it. Bring it up later, when he's more comfortable. Because forcing the subject into the forefront of his mind is just making it worse."

Todrick nodded once. "I agree with that."

Kevin looked over to Alex. "It's not like... A physical thing, is it? I mean.. You're not internally bleeding or something, are you?"

"No, Sir."

"Then perhaps it is best that you leave it for a later time, Jake."

Jake looked to Scott for help, knowing he'd understand. "I'm a little confused. I see where you guys are coming from, I really do. Just, I thought that was a thing from School. I was just trying to follow a rule."

Scott leaned across the table a little, so he could speak quietly. "It's a little tricky, being an Alpha in this pack. We don't exactly follow all of the rules. I always just watch to see which rules Avi enforces so I can adapt to it. Like.. If he yells at Kirstie for something that I disagree with, I disregard the rule. You're the Alpha, so. Inevitably, it's up to you."

Jake sat back in his seat. "Huh. Alright."

********

The rest of lunch went by fairly calmly, until they were leaving the small cafe, and someone knew Scott to be the World's Strongest.

This led a few Alphas to speak to him, asking him questions about what it's like.

Scott held up a hand, before turning around to face Kevin. "You guys can go back up to the room, if you want. I'll meet you there when I'm done."

"Yes, Sir." Kevin nodded once, passing him a room key, before turning to the others to relay that news onto them.

Scott kept Mitch tucked under his arm tightly, as he spoke to the other Alphas.
