Sorry y'all. Apparently Wattpad didn't notify anyone, so I'm positing it again... and again xD

Almost an entire hour later, Mitch finally sulked out into the living room to find Avi.

Scott followed him closely, without saying or doing anything that might make Mitch aware of his presence.

Avi was sitting on the couch with Kirstie, Grace in Kirstie's arms as they talked about something.

Mitch stood there quietly, not wanting to interrupt, until Avi turned to him. "Alpha? I need to talk to you... If that's okay."

"Sure." Avi stood up slowly, squinting at Mitch a little. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, Sir. I'm fine. There's just something I need to say to you."

Avi nodded, beginning his walk down the hall. "Is your boy coming too?"

"Yes, Sir."

Avi proceeded down the hall, holding to his bedroom open for both of them, before closing it. "What's wrong?"

Scott stood directly behind Mitch, not wanting to support him until he needed it. He wanted Mitch to ride the bike himself for a minute, to decide whether or not he needed the training wheels.

Mitch looked down at the ground, wringing his hands together. "I, um... Alpha, I did something bad."

Avi walked over slowly, no emotion on his face quite yet. "Really? Something like what?"

Mitch hesitated, inching away almost unnoticeably, though Scott felt him get a little closer. "I'm the one that lost Alex's paperwork. And I lied to you about it."

Avi just nodded. "I figured it was you. I'd appreciate if you wouldn't go through my stuff, though."

Mitch looked up at him, almost convinced he was joking. "I won't go through your things ever again. I just... Wanted to check something."

"How'd you lose it? Did you take it, or something?"

"No. The, uh... The wind took it."

"Really? How odd." Avi just shrugged, reaching out to pat Mitch's shoulder, though Mitch flinched away at first. "I don't really care, Tiny. But I think you need to go tell Travis."

Mitch frowned at him. "Do you know how long it took me to work up enough courage to talk to you? And now you want me to--?"

"It's only fair, Mitchell. Travis needs to know."

Scott slid both arms around Mitch's waist, kissing the top of his ear. "I'll go with you. It's not going to be scary, babe. He'll understand."

Avi nodded, sitting down on his bed. "And if he is, tell him it was my fault. That I sent you outside to grab the papers from my car, and a few of them blew away."

Mitch grinned a little. "Okay... I can do that."

Scott held up a hand, though the other stayed on Mitch. "You don't think they deserve to know that Mitch was reading up on their Omega?"

Avi shrugged.

"I'm not trying to get him in trouble or anything, I just... If this were the other way around, I'd want to know why Alex was reading his file."

"Just drop it, Rookie."

Of course Travis had been accepting of it. He didn't mind at all, he was just glad to hear that Mitch had been the one behind it all, and not Tony or Jamie.
