After arriving home, the first thing Kirstie did was head to the kitchen to feed Grace.

Once they'd all gotten out of their cars, Travis grabbed Alex's hand and looked to Scott. "How'd he do?"

Scott gave Alex a smile. "He did very, very well. I don't think you need to worry about him forgetting what he's doing. He seemed just fine."

Alex spoke first. "Thank you, Sir."

Travis nodded once. "If you had to give him one critique, what would it be?"

Scott didn't want to make Alex feel bad at all, but he knew that Travis was just trying to be helpful. "Sometimes, but only sometimes, he doesn't put his turn signal on soon enough."

Alex turned to Travis. "I'll work on that, I promise."

Scott took a small step forward. "It's not really a big deal, just... It's just something I noticed."

Travis nodded, turning to look at Alex. "I'll take you out driving sometime to work on it. Don't sweat it."

Jake walked up to them, grabbing one of Alex's hands. "We have to make cookies for Mitch. Want to help me?"

"Yes, Sir! That sounds like fun!"

Travis raised an eyebrow at them. "Why? Is Mitch okay?"

Scott grinned at him. "It's Mitchie's birthday."

Jake smiled right back. "How old is he now?"

"Six. It's been six years."

Alex smiled widely. "Aw, how cute!"

Travis glanced over to him. "Cute? He's not that much younger than you. You're on eight, no?"

"Yes, Sir. I am. How nice of you to remember!" Alex grinned at him, and then turned back to Scott. "I'll help with the cookies for him!"

Mitch wandered over, but he wasn't jealous. He promises. He was just curious, is all. "Hi, Scottie. What are you doing?"

"What kind of cookies do you want, Angel?"

Mitch paused for a second, not understanding it all out of context. "What?"

"It's your sixth year, babe. What kind of cookies do you want?"

"Can I just have chocolate chip ones?" Mitch gasped, his eyes lighting up a little. "Oh my gosh! Can I have M&M ones? I love those."

Alex frowned at him. "You didn't used to... I thought you liked sugar cookies or something."

"Well.. Scott introduced me to them, because he loves them. And... Now I love them too."

"Aw, that's cute! Of course you can have those! I'll make them right away!"

Jake grabbed his arm before he could run off. "We don't have M&Ms, babe."

Travis nodded once. "Perfect. Alex can drive us to get some. Two birds with one stone." He grabbed Alex's upper arm to pull him to the car. "We'll be back in twenty."

Jake grabbed Alex too, smacking Travis' hand away from him. "Gentle. You don't have to push him around. He is more than willing to obey you verbally."

Travis flinched away, not intending to do anything wrong. "Oh, my bad. I'm sorry, Lexi."

"I forgive you, Alpha." Alex responded without hesitation.
