Scott immediately turned to do just that, now getting a closer look at the two cars involved. One car contained two people, the other, only one. The first car's passenger side door was smashed in, and the other's front bumper was now detached from the car, and the hood was pushed back a little.
Scott went to the aid of the person in the passenger seat, before looking at Todrick to see if he should dare try to move the person.
The man was still conscious, and he answered Todrick's quick questions, as Travis walked around to the other side of the car to open the driver's side door.
The Beta then turned to Scott, and nodded. "Open the door as carefully as you can, though you're going to have to put a little muscle behind it."
Scott did his absolute best to be careful, apologizing every single time the man looked pained by his actions.
Once the door was open, Todrick inspected the man as well as he could. "It looks to me like your leg is broken in a few places, as the bones were smashed by the impact. But nothing else seems damaged more than a few scratches. I'm going to leave you here until the emergency vehicles come, so we don't make anything worse. Okay?"
Avi heard him, and then turned to pull Alex from the other car. He looked over to Mitch as well. "Come here, you two."
Alex rushed to obey, Mitch not far behind him. Avi led them over to the car, now that Scott and Todrick moved on to the other one.
Avi pushed Alex toward the man with the broken leg. "This is Alexander, my best Omega. He's going to stay with you until someone arrives to help."
Alex walked forward immediately, instincts doing most of the work for him. "Here, hold my hand. And when it hurts, just squeeze. It might make you feel better."
The man nodded, grabbing Alex's hand in a heartbeat.
Avi then grabbed Mitch's upper arm, and pulled him to the other side of the car, where Travis was speaking to the driver.
The driver pointed at the on-ramp. "He came through there, and either forgot how to merge or didn't slow down at all. He came right through us."
Avi tapped his arm. "Are you injured at all?"
Travis was the one to respond. "I have to ask Todrick, but I think he's just bleeding in a few places. A few bruises, maybe."
The driver suddenly fell into Mitch a little, and Avi hurried to push him back up, holding his arm to stabilize him. "A few bruises. Right."
The driver apologized to Mitch, but brought a hand up to his head. "I think the airbag might've done a number on me as well."
Avi eyed him up and down, speculating his speech. "Are you a Beta?"
"Yes, Sir."
Avi then pushed him back gently. "Maybe you should take a seat to wait for the paramedics." He turned to Mitch, and motioned him over to the driver. "This is Mitchell. He's going to stay with you until we figure things out. Please tell him if you need anything."
Avi then pointed to the other car, and he and Travis hurried over to help as much as they could.
Mitch felt a little uncomfortable, but did his best anyway. He held a hand out hesitantly. "Um.. Hi. You can just call me 'Mitch'. I still don't know why he uses such a long name on me..."
