Taehyung's POV

He took her away. He took her. I wasn't able to keep my promise. I promised Hyejin that I would protect her. But, I couldn't. I'm totally useless.

*flashback*

BANG!

[A/N: Suddenly thinks of Big Bang's Bang Bang Bang ( 뱅뱅뱅 ) Lmao!]

The noise buzzed in my ears as I suddenly started banging on the door like crazy. What happened? That noise sounded like a gun shot.

A sweat rolled down my forehead as worry started to shroud me completely.

After a couple more banging on the car door, a numerous drips of sweats already covered me full in the face and upper body.

Wiping it away, a sudden realization hit me. How dumb of me...so dumb...the number one most dumbest person ever.

I could just switch the lock on the door handle from the inside and I could already get out of this damn stupid piece of shit and cramped van. Why didn't I think of that?

[A/N: what a way to ruin a dead serious athmospere/scene. Ignore me.]

Turning the lock from left to right, the car door finally clicked open. Finally! After so long.

Immediately, I rushed out of the van without even closing the damn door before going. Dashing inside the building, like a rush of wind and as if I was running a marathon in which my life depended on it.

And yes, my life depended on it.

Finally, I reached the place where I think the gun shot noise came from. And I was right for once. Almost all of the cops wetr gathered in that place. As well as Seojun, Taeho and.....Hyejin.

I ran past the polices including ChanYoung but suddenly stopped midway.

Blood was scattered on the floor that I was standing at and it trailed towards where Hyjin and Seojun was at.

My fists clenched into a ball while I gritted my teeth in guilt. My eyes then focused on Hyejin's wound on her left leg. Blood was oozing down it to that floor. Her clothes was stained with red liquid as well as Seojun's.

"Yah! Seojun!" I yelled while trying to incvh closer. "Where are you taking her?"

"Why are you asking the same question?" he snapped bkmwhich boiled my blood into high new level.

My eyes ran to Hyejin's bloody leg and I tightened my vlench , making my veins pop out of my skin.

"What did you do to her?!"

*end of flashback*

"Can't you go any faster?!" I yelled in frustration.

We were in one of then police cars, chasing after Seojun's car which was only a few cars away from us.

"I'm trying alright?!" Chan replied in a shout. "Why don't you try driving?!"

"I can't!" I answered, my eyebrows scrunched together as I narrowed and focused my eyes on Seojun's car ahead. "We'll miss them if we change places right now! Just drive faster!"

Other police cars were behind us and one of them was ahead of us. We were all chasing Seojun's car and the other, I meant the normal cars, were edging to the sides, so we could pass ahead.

"Hurry!" I pleaded, my grasp on my shirt tightening by every second. "We're gonna lose them."

Swiftly, I closed my eyes and prayed. The sound of sirens and screeching of the tires fiddled in the background as the car fastened it's speed.

The road was clear yet the sky wasn't. Citizen's cars were on the left and right, while the police cars are in the middle, high speeding in the road as if we were in a race.
