[A/N: let's just say that Kim TaeHo looks like Ma Hao Dong from China, a combination of Taehyung and EXO's Baekhyun. Picture in the media above.]

Taeho's POV

Her beautiful sweet smile, angelic voice, sparkling eyes and goddess-like flowing straight hair would always cross my mind, making my heart flutter.

I sat quietly in the corner end of the room, my long legs crossed as a blue headphone hung around my neck, my hands inside my pants pocket - my eyes focused outside the window. The loud chattters of my classmates filled my ears yet I was in a daze, only thinking about her.

"Ahn JaeHee..."

Without me knowing, I suddenly muttered those words out. I bit my lower lip and closed my eyes for a moment before re-opening them again.

"Thinking about your girl again, huh?" a familiar voice interupts me.

I looked up and my face fell. I rolled my eyes at him and decided to ignore as I just rested my head on my table. Suddenly, he started poking my cheeks and my ear twitched in annoyamce.

"Stop it." I warned with a stern voice, my head still rested on my desk.

"You were thinking about her again, right?" he asks once again, his tone playful. "Aiyee. You were, weren't you?"

"Shut your mouth, Park Minhyuk." I raised my head and glared at him coldly while he only acted scared which was completely stupid and foolish.

"Omo, Rocky the dancing rock machine is scared." he said sarcastically. "But really, you were thinking about her, right?"

"So what if I were?" I snapped, rasing an eyebrow. "Are you gonna tease me? Cause if you are, don't even try or you'll find yourself wandering in heaven or hell tonight."

Rocky clicked his tongue and swished around, his back finally facing me. I let out a sigh of relief and stared back through the window while wearing my headphones over my ears - the music entering my eardrums.

I tapped my fingers on my wooden desk and stared at the invisble space, waiting and waiting. Then, a thought of another woman inserted my mind. Eomma.

I wonder if she's okay. It's been months since I last saw her.

Suddenly, out if the corner of my eye, the teacher caught my attention and I immediately rested my head back on my desk again, pretending to be asleep. I closed my eyes while the music still played in my headphones.

I could hear muffled voices but it wasn't clear. I tried peeking to see what was happening. There, in front of the class stood an unfamiliar new girl, beside the teacher.

Mrs. Han, our homeroom teacher moved her lips, speaking but I wasn't able to hear since my ears are covered with my headphones. Then, the new girl started speaking after the teacher did. She had a big smile plastered on her face, her hands entwined together in front while she stood perfectly straight. She had a copper aumbrey wavy long hair, side bangs, pink small lips and a white fair skin.

I didn't have any idea of what they were talking about but still, I watched. I saw the teacher point her finger at the seat beside me and the new girl only nodded cheerfully. She calmly walked towards me, her eyes travelling around the room as she did.

"Hi!" I saw her mouth as she took the empty seat beside me.

I ignored her and turned my head back to the desk, closing my eyes in the process.

---

I stared at my phone screen, unblinking. Should I or shouldn't? Letting out a frustrated groan, I scratched the back of my head and blinked my eyes a couple of times.

Just as I was gonna press the call button, a sudden movement and voice made me jump in surprise.

"Annyeong!" a happy voice chirped behind me.

I snapoed my head around to see the new transfer student, the same usual smile she had earlier this morning still pasted on her face. I turned my phone off and shoved it inside my pants pocket.

"What?" I questioned the young female coldly.

"My name's Rae." she extended her hand towards me. "Park Rae. You're my seatmate, aren't you?"

"Yes." I simply answered.

"What's your name, Mr. Seatmate?" she asked with a smile.

"Taeho. Kim Taeho." I muttered quietly. "Weird name, isn't it?"

"I don't know why you think it's a weird name, Mr. Kim Taeho-ssi." she said calmly. "There's much more weirder names than yours around the world, Mr Taeho-ssi. For example, DalPo from the drama, Pinocchio. Well, at least, you still have a name. Wae? Would you rather be called 'nobody'?"

What? What the heck is this girl talking about? Pinocchio? DalPo? Nobody?!

"Yah." my voice was irritated and my eye kept twitching. "Are you insulting me?"

"No, Taeho-ssi." she replied, bluntly. "I'm simply confronting you about your name."

A brief silence passed and as I had expected, the girl, Rae, was the one who broke it.

"I'm from Canada, by the way." she added, grinning. "I moved back here in Korea with my parents two days ago. Please take good care of me!"

"And why should I?" I questioned, suspiciously with a raised eyebrow.

"Um...because were seatmates and friends?"

"Friends?"

"Yes, friends."

Another batch of silence passed by for a moment before she spoke once again.

"Will you show me around the school?" she asks, politely.

"Can't you just find someone else?"

"No. I want you to be my tour around the school."

"Why me?"

"Cause you're my friend."

"Fine." I sighed in defeat, leaning my back against the tree.

She just smiled wider and bowed slightly. "I'm happy." she commented, still smiling happily.

I'm happy...

The simple two words felt so familiar that a sudden flick of an image flittered inside me for a second. An image of a smiling little girl looking straight at me.

"I'm happy." the little girl chirped in satisfaction.

The image faded and I was left dumbfounded. Who could that little girl be?
