Chapter 08

Change of plans! I totally forgot about taehyung proposing to hyejin in mr arrogant book 2. I'm so sorry.....
And in my previous chapter, I wrote something about taehyung and hyejin discussing about their fake marriage and about V proposing again. I think it's in chapter 2 of this book. I need to edit that chapter if I have time. Sorry again....

"Where do you wanna go next?" Taehyung asked as he drove the car. "Amusement Park? Archades? Movies? Or in a museum? Nah....it's boring in there so actually, no."

"How 'bout we go to a restaurant and eat?" I suggested with my voice kinda irritated. "I'm hungry. And plus, taeho can't really go to those places. We've been going from place to place since two days ago till this morning."

"Uh....fine," he gave out a sigh and continued driving.

Today is the last day our whole family is going out. And today is also the third day of taehyung's day off from work so tomorrow he'll be going back to work. All we did for these past few days is drive and drive from place to place which is very very tiring, my whole body ached after we got home. 

It's already 1:30  in the afternoon and still we haven't eaten anything yet. And, I feel like my whole body is about to crumble because of the heat and the walking. As we drove on to the restaurant, I remembered the park where me and taehyung used to go.

"Taehyung.....?" I said turning my head that was on the road to taehyung. "Why don't we go to the park that we used to go to? The place where you proposed to me? We haven't been there since taeho was born."

"Oh...that place," he replied. "Sure, why not? I also miss that place."

Finally, we were at our destination. Taehyung found a empty spot in the parking lot and parked carefully. We both got off and then, I carried taeho out of the car and gave him to taehyung.

"You! You carry him." I said, handing him taeho.

"Wae? Why not you do it?"

"Yah! I've been carrying him all day long and my arms are about to fall down."

"Aish! Arasso,"

He carried taeho away from me and started walking towards the entrance of the restaurant. I trailed behind them as I gave out a big sigh.

*while eating lunch*

We ate quietly, not talking at all to each other. "Yah! Why is it so quiet?" I asked, annoyed. "Can't you talk? Are you still sulking? Wae? Can't you carry your own son for a bit?"

"It's not quiet. It's really loud in here. Can't you hear?"

Taken back I argued back at him. "Yah! You know what I'm talking about." I almost yelled. "What I mean is, you and I are not talking at all."

"Now we are." He replied, bluntly.

"Good point," I said nodding. "W-wait! Why are you- aish! Never mind."

Then suddenly, a sound of a ringtone started playing. Taehyung got his phone out of his pocket and answered the call.

"Yeoboseyo? (Who is it?)" he asked. I continued eating and let him be with his phone.

"Can't you take care of it?" I heard him say. "I'm with my family, right now.......Arraso, I'll go. Just wait for twenty to thirty minutes."

He ended his call and looked back at me. "Hyejin-ah, I need to go to work. There's  a problem." I rolled my eyes. "It's really urgent and I need to go now."

"Can't they take care of it?" I tried to convince him. "It's your day off, isn't it?"

"Yes, that's true but this is really really urgent. They need me there. I promise I'll go home as soon as I finish."

"But how about us? How can we go home?"

"It's only 15 minutes walk from here to our house. Can't you just walk? Please......?"

"Fine....We'll just walk."

"Thank you very much. I'm sorry......It's an emergency."

"No, it's okay." I lied. "Just go and I'll take care of taeho."

"Thank you, again." He said, standing up from his chair and grabbing his sweater. "Oh, wait."

He grabbed his wallet from his pocket and picked out a credit card out then handed it to me. "Here, for the payment." He gave his credit card. "You know my password right? Just give it back to me later when I get home."

I nodded and bid goodbye to him as he walked away from us and exited the front door to the parking lot where his car was parked. Then, I looked back to my food. I lost my appetite to eat so I called for a waiter for the payment. A waiter came with an electronic payment terminal in his hands.

"Are you going to pay?" He asked, kindly.

"Uh- nae." I said showing him the card. "Here."

I swiped taehyung's card and then I stood up and picked taeho up and left. The waiter took care of the mess in the table.

Then, as I exited the door, I looked around from left to right and continued on walking. But then, I remembered the park that we were suppose to go and it's on the way so I went there with taeho.

Along the way, I bought ice cream for me to eat and also for dessert in the convenience store. Since taeho still can't eat an ice cream I just letted him sleep in my arms. At last, we arrived at the park. Then, I looked for a bench and sat down.

I finished my ice cream and then wiped my mouth with my hand. Today is suppose to be the day were our whole family hangs out. Then, a drop of water dropped in my cheeks. I thought it's about to rain but as I looked up at the sky, it's all clear and has no sign of any dark clouds. That was when I realized, I was tearing up.

"W-wae?" I asked myself, murmuring. "Why am I crying? Weird."

I wiped my tears off when suddenly-

RING!!!  My phone suddenly rang. I took it out of my pocket and answered the call.

"Yes? Yeobosseyo?" I listened for a while. The person in the other end was crying.

"This is your aunt, hyejin" the other end said, still crying.

"Imo?(aunt)" I asked, worried. Something feels very wrong. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

"Hyejin-ssi, your mom..............she passed away,"

Hello, readers. Yes, I said that I'm taking a break for a while but I couldn't wait to publish this chapter (I'm a very impatient one) so after school when both of my parents wasn't home, I sneaked out my mom's ipad and wrote this chapter. I'm such a bad girl..... Well, whateves. Kekekekeke!!!
