Garroth x Reader ~ I Wouldn't Love A Traitor

Aphmau stops at the gates to talk to Dante but, you run as fast as you can to reach Garroth.

Why would he do this? It doesn't make any sense. He- he was happy and then he shut everyone out...

Aphmau catches up with you guys and she stops at this man. Who she talks to, so you assume that he's no threat to you guys.

You start running through the forest and end up in a clearing. Garroth is handing the amulet to Zane and a woman stands behind Zane.

You take a step back and touch a tree and take in a deep breath.

"Garroth." You wheeze.

He doesn't care about you anymore! Admit it! He's going bad! He doesn't love you and he never will.

You can change him! He still loves you and wants you in his arms! Go to him and save him.

You hyperventilate and lock eyes with Garroth for a split second.

He lets his guard down and you see guilt in his eyes.

Laurance runs up with his sword and him and Garroth exchange some words.

"Garroth? Why?" You whisper.

He seemed so fine. Even after he locked himself in his room, he came out to fight off the guards of another village.

Apparently he had knocked out Laurance and took the amulet from him. Which you refused to believe until now.

You walk up to the rest of the group, sword in hand.

Aphmau turns to you, "It might be the best if you leave (y/n)."

You nod "I completely understand Lord Aphmau."

And with that, your gone.

-~*~- Fifteen Years Later -~*~-

You grab the apple and cut it into pieces.

Your daughter practically flies down the stairs.

"Mom!"

You turn to her and smile "What is it?"

"Aphmau is on her island and Zoey has offered for me to go! Please!"

"I want to go also."

A huge bang is heard and your head flies to the door.

"Stay here." You say.

She nods and you run to the area.

To which, stands a man you haven't seen in a long time.

A crater is there and Aphmau is at her knees.

Garroth looks at you and you turn back around and walk away.

Not wanting to have a traitor near you.

You walk inside your house and shut the door and immediately start packing the stuff.

"Mom? What're you doing?" She asks.

"Pack your stuff (d/n). We're leaving. It's not safe." You say.

"Okay." She says and walks upstairs.

She's never been one to argue, more like do it.

But when she knows when the other person is wrong she will argue if she's right.

She's shy but not shy.

You go upstairs and quickly pack everything.

A knock is heard at the door and you walk down and see Zoey standing there.

"Oh, hello Zoey, what is it you need?"

"Garroth is back." She says.

You nod "I know."

"He wants to see you."

"I don't want to see him." You say back.

Zoey stares at you "You should at least know -"

"He will never know Zoey. I forbid him." You say.

"Forbid me from what?" Garroth asks.

"Please leave the area." You say.

"Why -"

"Leave." You growl.

"(Y/n) -" Garroth starts.

"What?!"

"Did you kiss him."

"Kiss who."

"Dante."

"Why in the world would I do that?!"

Garroth looks at you in the eyes.

"Mom what is-"

"Go back upstairs." You say locking eyes with Garroth.

Zoey takes her leave.

"You- you have a daughter?"

"It doesn't matter. Go away." You say, going to shut the door.

"No! Wait!" He says.

"Garroth." You sigh.

"Who- who is the father."

You shut the door and walk up the stairs.

(D/n) stands there, staring at you.

"Can I see him?"

You look at her "Are you sure you want to see him."

She nods "Please."

You walk down the steps.

Opening the door, Garroth sits on the steps with his head in his hands.

"Garroth." You say quietly.

He turns around and his eye brighten a bit.

"This is (d/n)."

Your daughter has Garroth's blonde hair and your eyes.

Garroth stands up and hugs both of you.

"(Y/n), I'm so sorry." He says.

You hug one side of him.

"Wait, Garroth did you do that because you thought Dante kissed me?"

"Yes." He says.

He stops hugging you.

(D/n) smiles "Is it official?"

"Is what official?" You ask.

"Your relationship. Back together I mean." She says.

You look at Garroth and he nods.

"I guess it is." He says.
