Sometimes a girl has to be extreme.

Not always, because I think guys would stay away from the girls that are too extreme all the time. Especially if they aren't the extreme type themselves.

Levi is definitely one of those.

But in certain situations, when a girl has few options, it's okay to be a little saucy.

Am I one of those extreme girls?

---------I do make reckless decisions at times but I  choose them wisely. It's not like I'm trying to do 'extreme' things all the time.   I'm a selective, gal.

Levi rolled down the cruisers window and stuck his head out, "Maisie get your ass off my car!"

"NOPE." I shot back. "You said you were going to take me in." I sat cross legged on the hood of the cruiser.

---If Levi expected me to cooperate, he'd have to honor his word.

I honored my word by keeping my lips quiet about where I spending my nights.

"Lock me up in a smelly jail cell or send me to some mental asylum in the middle of the ocean somewhere."

I could be safe there.

I would be safer there.

"You're acting like a lunatic! Get in!"

That's exactly what I wanted him to think.

If he refuses to take me into jail at least he'd then have the option to commit me.

"Which mental asylum are you going to drop me off at?" I batted my eyelashes. "I've heard wonderful things about Holly Hill Hospital. " I waved my phone in the air, "According to google they've spent the last 40 years working to improve the lives of those experiencing psychiatric and addictive disorders. They have this program called Explore, Discover, Connect. You know, I could go for some connecting right about now."

"Don't make me do this Maisie."

I slipped my phone back into my pocket and pressed a finger against my lip. "---You know, I knew a guy who was drunk one night and sat on the bumper of a car. His girlfriend I guess didn't know he was sitting on the bumper and started driving off. He flipped and landed on his head, immediately dying from severe brain damage. It's a sad story really but----"

"So that's what you're trying to do, kill yourself?"

"Well I'd prefer you take me to jail but that could be another option. I'm open to really anything at this point."

"Aux grands maux les grands moyens"

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Everything sounds so much sexier in French.

I looked over my shoulder to see Levi standing off to the side of the passenger side door. ----looks like he's trying to make me into his next meal.

Meh, kind of hot.

"You're not going anywhere and your night killing yourself. You hear me?"

I puffed, "I hear you but I don't like what I'm hearing."

I see him in my peripheral moving closer towards me.

I tell you he wants to make me his last meal.

It's been awhile, I wouldn't be against it.

"Maisie Brooks get your ass in my car."

"Sorry Levi, I like my ass far much better on your hood." Haha that's what she said.

FOCUS MAISIE!

Emotional dialogue continues...

I just want the pain to stop.

My mother will never change.

There is no place I can hide now.

I can't do this to Levi anymore either. He could risk a lot of the really promising things in his life and it would KILL me to know that I ruined his life. ---He's a good person who does not deserve to get wrapped up in the chaos in my life.

I'm doing this for you too, stupid. "Does this mean you have agreed to be my ride to jail?" I crossed my arms in determination.

"Please just get in."

"So that must be a no, then."

"I can't help you with that. I won't help you with that."

"Fine," I frowned. "I guess---- we'll be staying here then. You know, it's supposed to get real cold tonight so hopefully you got a blanket or something in that cruiser of yours. You just might freeze."

Catching me off guard, Levi appeared in front of me and grabbed my sore arms. He dragged me to the squad car then opened up the passenger door, shoving me inside. He closed the door behind me then went to the driver's side.

Soooo hot, but so not a part of the plan.

He opened up his door and sat in. Levi looked over his shoulder at me, "You're not crazy. You're just hurt."

"If you knew how hurt I was, you'd take me straight to the jail."

"I'm all ears, Mais. I've got nothing but time for you."

"Fine," I sat up on the edge of the back seat. "My mothers boyfriend, the one you met, he raped me when I was 8.  I told her and she didn't believe me.--- And you know what sucks more, is I thought I could have defended myself if it happened again and I couldn't. So  there you have it."
