We needed a solid plan and until we had one, I wasn't going to return home just yet. I didn't want to go in blind-sided and not have at least a few courses of action.

Did I want to immediately get him talking as soon as I got back?

Was that the smart choice of action?

Should I be wearing an audio device at all times or when would I know to put it on? I mean this seems like a silly question but what if he's suspicious as soon as I get back? Will he immediately think I'm up to something and check me for devices? How would I know? How would I plan for any of that?

What happens if he's on guard and happens to be on his best behavior? He could be skeptical and how would I know since I've been gone for 3 months.

Would I have to do anything to 'entice him'? Would I have to wear something that is not something I would generally wear? Does he want that? Or is he expecting me to give him attitude as soon as I get home and that's what he likes best?

I don't know.

I'm scared.

"Thanks," I took the blanket and pillow Levi brought me from the hallway closet and set up my bed. Tonight I will sleep on the couch, tomorrow I hope to be going home to get this over with.

I rubbed my eyes with the heels of my hands and sat on the edge of the couch.

"I have a question," Levi said, placing his hands in his pocket. "Does Nick know you're not interested in him or has he not been told?"

Shouldn't he be thinking about a plan to save my ass instead of wondering about Nicholas?

"---You must think I'm a real heartless bitch don't you."

"He thought you were his girlfriend, Maisie"

"I don't date," I said. "I can't help that no matter how many times I tell him that this is nothing serious, he still won't listen. Clearly guys need to be more focused on the words coming out of a girls mouth instead of what could possibly be going in! That's not my fault, Levi."

"So you did know that he was focusing on other things when you laid out the rules for him." His eyes narrowed his eyes at me. " Come on, Mais."

I shook my head, "I didn't ask for relationship pointers from you, bud!" I tossed my pillow at him, and it hit him square in the face. " I don't need advice from someone who is less than experienced in that department."

"How would you know how much experience I've had?"
