□□ I just feel jealous of everyone. □□
The next day, they were already on the exit towards Maryland. Rian poked Jack's head with his football to wake him up. But he didn't want to wake up. He was comfortable with Kirsten sleeping soundly, curled up beside his chest as his arm rested on her waist.
Alex swiftly pulled the curtain fully open to the side, Kirsten flinched at the sound of it.
"Mornin' Kirchie!" Alex greeted her in a loud voice, with a little melody.
"Morning, Alex." Kirsten stretched away from Jack who was also awake already. "Morning, Rian. Morning, Zack." He looked at them one by one and greeted them.
"Mornin'" they replied in chorus with the timing off.
Kirsten tried to move away, but Jack was holding on to her like glue. She was like a hotdog pillow being hugged by Jack's whole body. "Hey, I need to pee." Jack finally released her, and they all went to the front lounge for breakfast. Kirsten was the last in line.
She lazily opened the bathroom door. Matt was there, and he was signalling her to keep her mouth shut. She went in hesitantly and closed the door.
"I want you to scream as loud as possible." Matt whispered as he sat down on the shower floor. He turned the knob, and the water started to drench him.
"Go." he instructed Kirsten as he closed his eyes and laid himself down on the tiled floor.
Kirsten can't understand a thing, but she just followed anyways. It was Matt so she was pretty sure he won't do anything nonsense. It also seemed that Alex was an accomplice because he obviously pulled Jack quickly away from the bathroom when he tried to get in.
"Aaaaahhh!" Kirsten screamed at the top of her lungs. When they rushed to slide the door, she buried her face in her hands. Jack squeezed himself before Alex can get inside the bathroom.
"Kirsten!" His voice was in extreme panic.
With her head still covered by her hand, the other pointed out to Matt who looked like he passed out on the bathroom floor. But instead of catering to Matt, Jack carried Kirsten out of the bathroom and into the couch. Kirsten didn't know what to do. She was waiting for the next move when Alex peeked on the side of the bathroom door and held on to his tummy while looking at her.
Alex's smile was priceless. He shared Jack's confession to Matt during the night. So they have decided to give him a little scare. He was not asleep yet when Jack went inside Kirsten's bunk bed. He was still thinking the shit out of the stars he saw that night.
"owww.." Kirsten groaned while holding to her tummy. Jack started to freak out even more.
"Jack! Help us out here!" Alex called out in panic. Zack and Rian just tried to squeeze themselves inside the bathroom. They were trying to contain their giggles.
"I don't care! Kirsten is hurt!" he shouted back to Alex. "Kirsten! Kirsten! Hold on!" he hugged her tight and his eyes started to swell.
*clap clap clap*
Jack turned around and saw Alex, Zack, Rian and Matt with a towel on his head, giving him a round of applause. Realizing the prank played on him, he stood up and punched the bathroom door, inches away from Matt's head.
They all stood there in silence. Alex thought for a second that he must have played it too much. The others were having the same thought as well. Jack usually laughs about the pranks and tricks played on him, but he reacted differently when Kirsten got involved.
