Second date. A second date after dodging a formal engagement. It seemed like a big deal, but it might not be as big to the two lovebirds.

Kirsten was happy that they were taking time for their unofficial and complicated relationship.

Jack and Kirsten ate some desserts on the kitchen, waiting for a great chance to escape. When May went to the living room to bring more snacks to everyone, they grabbed the chance to go out through the back door.

They were walking swiftly towards Jack's car. He pulled out his phone and called up May. She was busy talking to the guests and her eyes widened when he saw a call from his brother. She looked around before answering it.

"Where the hell are you?!"May gritted her teeth in anger.

Jack giggled at her question, and he started the car. May heard it, and she immediately went to the door and she saw the two driving away.

Jack rolled down the windows and waved good-bye to her. Alex, Zack and Rian were behind her laughing. They drove off aimlessly. Kirsten was looking out the window, discovering the surroundings of her new home.

Jack did not answer to the engagement, but he fully acknowledged their baby. Maybe he was not yet ready, or he knew that Kirsten was not comfortable with it. If the marriage was the end or just the beginning of their journey, then whatever happens, they would still end up together. There was no need to rush things.

"We're always running." Kirsten opened up to him.

"Isn't that exciting?!" Jack responded, his eyes glancing on Kirsten then back to the road.

"Another adventure for Finn and Jake?" they smiled at each other. Jack started to play some tunes.

"Was it good?" Jack asked Kirsten, his hand playing with the volume.

"The toast for us? You pissed off some of the guests there." Kirsten giggled at the thought of it. She saw some of the people got a little disappointed when Jack turned the should be engagement party to an advance baby shower.

"I assumed that would be the best thing for now. What do you think?" Jack turned right towards a shopping centre and parked a couple of spots away from the entrance.

"Between the two of us," the two unfastened their seatbelts. "You're the one who should make the decision for it."

Jack lowered his hoodie and gave Kirsten his spare glasses and jacket that he brought for her. They went out of the car and Jack immediately pulled her in to his side as they walked towards the entrance. Jack spotted an ice cream stand and continued their dessert course.

"But I want to know your side for it as well." the two sat down and started eating.

"I'm fine with any decision you make. I mean, if there would be someone who will be compromised more, it will be you. I don't have anything else to worry about aside from this " she softly massaged her tummy. "And my work as a merch girl."

"But if you need anything or you don't like my decisions, just tell me. We need to talk about it." Jack pointed a spoonful of icecream towards Kirsten and she ate it.

They started talking about getting an ice cream maker at home. They both like the idea, but Kirsten found it unnecessary. Jack does not have a problem on using it occasionally. After eating, they went to the supermarket to completely fill up their kitchen.

As they took a grocery cart, Kirsten whispered to him, "This is the second date?"

He just smirked at her and immediately threw some bag of chips, popcorn and other snacks on the cart. Kirsten went off towards the dairy area and cereals so they can get the shopping done immediately. They have the worst cover-up right now as it does not help in any way but it looked cool.
