Will you even know it's me

□□ "so much that I'm falling in love already." □□

"Kirchie!" Alex called out as he tossed a water bottle to Kirsten. He was walking down the hallway, and Kirsten was on the couch. She reached out her arms for it, but Jack caught it for her instead. He opened the water bottle and drank from it while Kirsten glared at him.

Alex saw and laughed at it so he just handed the other bottle he has to Kirsten. Before she can even reached out to it, Jack already sticked the mouth of his water bottle on Kirsten's lips.

"What the fuck?" Alex asked as he sat down beside Kirsten. They took turns in playing and when it was Jack's turn, Alex talked to Kirsten.

"What's his problem?" he asked as he pointed his lips towards the raging Jack. He was cursing and trash talking Rian and the AI players in the league.

Kirsten glanced at Jack, and he winked at her quickly. She smiled sweetly as she turned back to Alex and said, "Did he say something?"

"About what?" Alex asked as he drank from his bottle.

Kirsten curled her lips, thinking if Alex should know the tiny progress of their relationship. They were not able to talk about it formally yet. That morning, Kirsten was running around the house to prepare Christmas decorations. And then in the evening, she was sitting down with the band before they went backstage.

Kirsten turned away from Alex and looked at Jack. He was still cursing on the game. He glanced at Kirsten and winked at her again.

"Nothing. He's just acting childish right now." said Kirsten as she drank from their bottle.

Alex looked at his phone and noticed the time. He got up, tapped Jack and said, "Let's go."

They walked out of the bus with Kirsten right in front of them. Jack was holding on to her shoulders from behind, steadily maneuvering the directions she must go to. They went to their dressing room. Jack sat her down on a chair then he went in front of the mirror with Alex to fix his hair. Zack started his pre-show workout on the other side of the room, and Rian sat on another chair with his headphones on, hitting the invisible drumset in front of him.

Kirsten looked at them. She can see how these people prepare for the real stage  show. They were not talking too much. They had a lot of shows already, but there was still a hint of nervousness. They grew up performing in front of lively crowds, yet at some point, they still act like they're not used to it.

Faint sounds of the crowd and the live performances outside can be heard through the thin walls of the dressing room. Kirsten took out her phone and took some pictures of them. She suddenly felt a pinch in her heart.

She sent a lot of pictures to her ex-boyfriend before. Before all the shocking news that came upon them, she was busy sharing all the fun moments she had with the band. But that time, when she took pictures of them on the dressing room, she took it all for her own. There was no one she could share the pictures with. Her mom would definitely ignore it, and her dad wouldn't understand. It would be rude and mean to still share it with the person whose heart was badly broken because of her, even if he was the only one who would appreciate it. Sharing it with the public would just cause a scene.

There wasn't a day that she forgot to think about her ex-boyfriend. The little things that he has already done to her, she sometimes see it on Jack's gestures and actions. Maybe that was the reason why she can't fall in love completely. Kirsten has already started to fall in love with him. But with all the bittersweet memories, she can't help but be indecisive about her feelings.
