So I managed to write this next chapter before the end of the night. It was a bit difficult due to time constraints and experiencing a little writers block. I've got an outline written for the remaining chapters, now all I have to do is keep writing 😊. I will try my best to update weekly but I won't just throw anything on paper just to update on time, you guys deserve the best and that's what you'll get. Please excuse any mistakes and enjoy!

[ROMAN POV]
The next few days were rather calm at work. Even though Kiran and I had worked things out and agreed to be friends, we still weren't talking like we used to. She wasn't exactly ignoring me. There was still small talk, but it never went past that. She would always laugh and joke around with Dean, but with me— nothing. Another thing I noticed was that she would always have someone with her when she was around me, either Dean or one of the few friends she made within the divas division. Until Kiran and I had a chance to spend some time together, away from everyone else, this awkward distance would always remain.

Kiran was usually doing paperwork in her office during non televised events and since she was on her own, I took tonight as a good opportunity to hang out in her office and have some much needed alone time with her. Her door was left open, so I lightly knocked before entering. She looked up and greeted me with a smile. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun, and she had a few strands of hair framing her face.

"Hey, what's up? How long are you going to be stuck here?"

"Just until I go through this stack of papers...thankfully no one is bringing injuries tonight."

"Anything I can do to help you?"

"Nope... these reports are confidential, so you shouldn't really even be in here."

"Okay, well, I don't want you getting in trouble, so I'll leave. But I wanted to ask....uh...do you.....I mean... do you and Dean want to ride along with me to the next city?"

"Sure, I'll let Dean know so he doesn't book another rental."

"Great....I'll be out in the parking lot after the show."

[KIRAN POV]
Well, I guess this was a start to getting used to each other again. I texted Dean and told him we were riding with Roman. He had told me he'll also meet us in the parking lot, so I grabbed my bags and made my way there. Roman was waiting by the car with the trunk open. I tried picking my bag up, but Roman quickly grabbed it for me and put it in the trunk.

"Thanks..."

"Sure thing. Didn't Dean come along with you?"

"He said he'd meet us here....oh there he is!" I pointed far out near the arena. Dean was getting caught up with fans, and that brought the attention in our direction as well. Roman also began signing autographs for the last few fans. The last one was a little girl, around eight or nine, with her hair in a braid and was wearing a cute dress. She had this glimmering smile when she looked up at Roman while holding her pen and magazine in the air, waiting for Roman to sign it.

"Escuse me....Mr. Roman....I wanted to know... Are you friends again with that lady over there?" She asked him, leaving Roman stumped.

Even little kids found out online about our fallout, which certainly didn't surprise me. The youngest of kids carried around smartphones when, during our childhood, we either had no cellphone or a crappy flip phone. Dean and I couldn't help smiling at her innocent question, while Roman was looking at me for an answer.

"Well? Are you two friends now?" She asked again in a squeaky voice.

I gave Roman a reassuring smile. He turned back to the little girl and kneeled down to her level. "Yes, sweetheart... we are friends again."
