"Roman, kiss me..." She whispered in my ear and lightly grazed my earlobe with her teeth.
I closed my eyes, brushing my cheek against her soft face and felt the warmth of her skin. Just as I was about to bring my lips onto hers, I stopped myself. I couldn't do this. I couldn't take advantage of Kiran while she was drunk. Even though it was the only thing I wanted to do, I just couldn't get myself to kiss her. I cupped the back of her head and kissed her forehead. She looked at me like I was crazy or something.
"Not like that....I want you to kiss me on my lips."
"Kiran, I can't do that. You're so drunk and I don't want you regretting anything in the morning." I tried reasoning with her.
"I'm not drunk, why do you think that? I'm talking just fine..."
"Because I know how brilliantly you handle three shots. I'm still wondering how you're not already passed out."
"You see? I'm fine. Just kiss me already, I know you want to...." Kiran was stroking the side of my face with her hand while looking into my eyes.
"I know I want to, too, but I'm not going to. Not until you sober up and—"
