Chapter 22

[KIRAN POV]
I knew Roman wouldn't let me off the hook easily. He was going to figure me out no matter what. I honestly didn't want to stay with Ro because I didn't want to burden him in any way and make him think he had to look out for me all the time.

We had dinner at one table. This time, I ended up sharing food with Dean, who had ordered a lot of food for himself, and some of it was vegetarian, whereas Seth and Ro got a huge burger each. I don't know how the two were sitting peacefully at the same table when just a week ago, they were at each other's throats. Roman had downed a few too many shots, and now everyone was able to tell. Surprisingly, he managed to walk himself to our room.

"Kiran, you're coming with me tomorrow, and that's final. I got my own place with spare rooms. You'll be alone here, so it makes sense we just stay together." He said as he tossed his jeans and shirt off, throwing them on our bags.

"I don't want to be a bother-"

"Babygirl.....you're being silly right now. Tomorrow, you're getting on that plane with us. We're gonna go home, and we're gonna have a good time, got it?" He was standing in front of me with his hands on my waist, giving me a serious look.

"Fine...I'm gonna quickly go shower then, since we have an early flight. Don't go to sleep without me!"

"Then you better not keep me waiting, sweet cheeks..."
