"I can be gruncy and dark and wear lots of black. . . But then I can be really girly. It really depends on what sort of day it is.

Chapter Twenty One: Are you Nala Bear?
"What the hell were you thinking?" I ranted, pacing up and down in Jayden's living room the following morning. "You do relise this is going to send a ton of rumours our way right?" Jayden, who was leaning against the wall watching me, shook his head.
"Take a chill pill Nala Bear." He said, laughing at me. "Everyone knows it was an empty threat."
"Do they?" I asked. "Because if it was me, I sure as hell wouldn't have."
"Actors make these kind of threats all the time Spence. No one would have been worried."
"You couldn't have warned me before hand?" I shrieked. "What would have happened if some journalist had ambushed me on the street and asked me whether the guy I'm supost to be dating has really stopped his acting career! We're in this together Jay! Don't do something like that again!"
Jayden sighed. He pushed himself away from the the wall and came over to me, putting his hands on my shoulder.
"Come on Spencer. You weren't this mad when I asked Zoe for her number when I first met her." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"You did what?" The easy grin dropped from Jayden's face.
"Shit. She didn't tell you did she?" I let out a growl and grabbed the nearest pillow off the sofa. Then I proceed to chase him round the living room, waving the pillow above my head.
"You idiot!" I shrieked. "You dumb ass! You butt head! You poo face!" Jayden peeked at me from behind the sofa.
"Poo face?" He asked with a grin. "Really Spencer?" I slammed my pillow into his face. He let out a muffled yelp and ducked behind the sofa again, crawling on his hands and knees to hide behind the curtains.
"Don't insult my insults!" I said, bashing the curtains with my pillow. Jayden yelped again and fought his way out of the curtains with his hands in the air.
"I surrender." He said, placing his hands on his head. "I surrender." I slammed the pillow into his face one last time before dropping it onto the sofa again.
"Well." I said. "Now that we've got that sorted, I think I'll be going now."
"You're not going anywhere. " said Jayden, jumping in front of me and blocking the doorway.
"Why?" I asked. Jayden winced.
"Because my sister Alice is on her way over with our little brother Keegan and I may or may not have mentioned that you were going to be here." My mouth fell open.
"You did what!?!? Jayden!"
"I know! I know! I'm really sorry!"
I slammed the pillow into his face again.
Two hours later and I was in the kitchen covering a potatoe salad in cling wrap whilst Jayden was out on the balcony cooking a barbecue. I will admit, I was a little worried he was going to give us all food posining, but after he rang Caleb and he convinced me that it was the only thing Jayden could actually cook, I decided to trust him.
