Bonus Chapter
The weekend I saw my Dad again had been one of the biggest weekends of my life.
Jayden and I had flown out to Minnasota three days after I first mentioned it, taking the last two first class seats avalible. They even managed to squeeze Toby in as well. There was no way I was leaving him behind. It was an early morning flight, so I got to watch the sunrise over the clouds which was like nothing I'd ever seen before. Jayden was asleep beside me, curled up under a fluffy blanket with only the top of his head visible. I took a photo and posted it on Instagram. He didn't talk to me for the whole of the planes decent. Apparently, his hair looked like a birds nest and no one but me should ever see it looking like that. I smiled to myself as the plane ran along the runway. We had to wait for everyone else to get off before we were allowed to move. Prim and Brad were waiting out on the run way to pick us up, holding signs with our names on them, even though there was no one else there. Prim had jumped on me so hard we both fell over, shreiking loudly as we rolled around on the ashfelt. Brad had picked me up and swung me around and I'd hung on tightly, refusing to stop squealing until my feet were on the ground again. Toby went belistic, barking loudly. He jumped so high he twisted in mid air, landing on his face. He was stunned for a moment, but then when Brad picked him up, he went nuts again, trying to lick any part of Brad's face that he could reach.
Prim was actually quite calm when it came to being introduced to Jayden. She didn't say much, I don't think she could, but she shook his head polietly, nodding her head. Jayden sent me a sly look (I'd told him before we landed that Prim was the reason I knew who he was before we met, she was always talking about him) and he leant forward and kissed her on the cheek. She swayed for a moment and put her hand on my arm, forcing herself to take a deep breath. I kicked Jayden's shin as hard as I could and he sent me a sheepish smile after he'd finished swearing.
'He is just as beautiful in person as he is in the photographs." Prim murmured in my ear, stealing a glance at Jayden as he and Brad carried our bags over to Brad's car, which was parked on the edge of the runway. I laughed, opening the car door and depositing Toby on the back seat.
"You keep your hands to yourself." I said, pointing at her playfully. "My boyfriend is off limits." Prim shook her head.
"I still can't believe you have a boyfriend." She said, lowering her voice as the boys opened the trunk. "You haven't talked about a boy since Kody Redgrave in the eighth grade." I pulled a face.
"The only reason I talked about Kody Redgrave was because Alison Dregs forced us into 7 minutes in heaven at her 14th and I was trumatised." Prim slid across the back seat, lifting Toby and cuddling him in her lap.
"I suppose any girl who got kissed by a boy with sauage in his bracies would be trumatised. That put you off boys for a long time."
"It put me off boys and parties." I responded. "Now look at me. I'm going to parties all the time."
"Promise you'll fly me out for one?" Prim turned her puppy eyes on me. Jayden, who'd just climbed in the front, turned his head in our direction.
