Chapter Thirty Five: Yeah. And I'm secretly an FBI agent.

It was dark when I got home.

I closed the door with a loud bang, ignoring the shriek that came from the living room. Zoe stuck her head out, scowling when her eyes came to rest on me.

"Did you really have to do that?" She asked and I heard a soft thud as she dropped whatever she'd planned to hit me with onto the carpet. "You interupted Styida's kiss!" I rolled my eyes at her, feeling like snapping at whoever came near me.

"Oh no." I said, shouldering my way past her. "Will they ever forgive me?" Zoe blinked at me.

"There's no need to be a bitch Spencer." She said before turning around and leaving me alone in the hallway. As soon as she was gone I felt bad. I hadn't meant to snap. I wanted to go and say sorry, but I knew it was better for both of us if I left her to her teen wolf.

After grabbing myself some food from the kitchen, I made my way upstairs, feet padding softly on the carpet as I went. I dumped everything onto my bedside table and then changed into my tracksuit bottoms and a huge hoodie, pulling the hood up over my head. I didn't plan on interacting with the outside world again until my mood had worked itself out. It was better for everyone if I wasn't crabby.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of Toby whining outside my door. I'd forgotten to let him on last night and I was paying for it now. With a groan, I climbed out of bed and let him in. As soon as the door opened, Toby shot straight past me and dove onto the bed, turning himself around in small circles before curling up right where I'd been lying.

"Just what do you think you're doing?" I asked, putting my hands on my hips." Toby didn't even raise his head. Instead he turned his head away from me and closed his eyes. "Fine." I said, grabbing the hoodie off the back of my chair and dragging it on. I left the door open, so he could come out if he wanted and then headed down stairs. Zoe was sitting on the kitchen counter with papers and drawings spread out all around her, which had become a common sight now that I'd been living with her nearly six months.

"Are you ever going to sit on a chair?" I asked as I walked around her to the fridge. Zoe glared at me over the top of her paper.

"Miss Bitchy moved out has she?" I dropped my gaze to the floor.

"Ok I deserve that."

"Yeah." Said Zoe, "you do."

"Look I'm sorry." I said. "I just had a really tough day and I didn't mean to take it out on you." Zoe still looked pissed. Then she muttered something so low I couldn't hear it. "Huh?"

"Stydia forgive you." She said and I couldn't help the grin that spread across my face. I reached across the countet to hug her around the shoulders before I headed over to the toaster. I'd just turned around again when I caught her staring at me with a funny look on her face.

"What?" I asked.

"That's Jayden's hoodie." Zoe said slowly. I blinked.
