Chapter 22

Zak's POV

I'm sitting outside by the pool watching Athena play with Gracie Athena is climbing all over her trying to get some attention and she even gives Gracie a few impatient barks but Gracie is keeping her patience. I let out a surprised grunt when Mallory sits in my lap I smile and wrap my arms around her waist she wraps her arms around my neck and lays her head on my shoulder we had three weeks to spend time together before we headed out for our next lockdown and I was going to make up for the month we were apart we were going to go out whenever she wanted. She moves to where she is straddling my lap I look up at her then she kisses me I kiss back and pull off her shirt then throw it on the ground she kisses down my neck then she tugs on my shirt I pull it off and toss it I kiss her and bite down on her lip she moans then pulls my hair. She runs her hands down my chest then unbuckles my belt and unzips my pants I run my hands down her back then pull off her shorts she pulls off my pants I missed this I missed her I missed the feeling of our skin together but she was back and I had another chance with her.

Mallory's POV

I let out a yawn and bury my face against Zak's neck he lets out a sigh and pulls me closer which I didn't think was possible since we were still sitting in a chair by the pool. I start running my fingers through his hair he lets out a content humming noise I smile then take one of his hands and start tracing the cross tattoo on his finger he opens his eyes and looks over at me "Hey sweetie." "Hi Zakula." He kisses my head and starts running his fingers up and down my arms while we sit there in silence until Zak breaks it "Hey Mal?" "Yeah Zak?" "Would you like to go out tonight?" I nod my head then kiss him and wrap my arms around his neck he kisses back and wraps his arms around my waist we pull apart and I meet his blue eyes he smirks "See something you like sweetie?" I laugh and roll my eyes then stand up and start getting dressed I start looking around for my other shoe but I don't find it I glance across at the other side of the pool and see Athena with my shoe. "Athena come give mommy her shoe." As soon as I take a step toward her she picks up my shoe and runs off "Athena!!" I take off chasing my puppy who has my shoe while Gracie and Zak hang back and watch me chase her.

AJ'S POV

I was still in Vegas staying in my hotel even though Mallory wasn't staying here with me anymore I couldn't stop thinking about her I really missed her I could have been happy with her and she would have been happy with me. She was different than a lot of the other girls I had met and dated and I loved that about her I think about the moments we had in our short time together I wasn't this kind of guy but she had turned me into one I think of how I kissed her and the way were in bed even though I wanted to be with her she clearly belonged to someone else she thought she was meant for the Ghostbuster but what if she was really meant for me? I take a deep breath then let it out slowly staying here in Vegas knowing that she was here in the same city was only making things worse for me and it wouldn't help me move on from her even though I knew I never would I get up and go in my bedroom then start packing my clothes and everything else I brought with me I'm not in a big rush so I take my time packing two hours later I zip up my bag then walk through the hotel suite. I look around the room then turn off the light and walk out of the room with Mallory still in my thoughts I knew we were still friends and I would see her again but I would always want more.

Nick G's POV

Getting tweets and questions from fans on Twitter was nothing new to me in fact it happened every day and for a while I had been getting questions about Zak's new girlfriend I wasn't part of the show I wasn't part of the crew anymore so that was new to me. I know it was none of my business but I didn't think that maybe looking her up on Twitter was going to be a huge crime I type her in and start scrolling through her tweets and I see a picture of her and Zak she was a lot different from the other women I've seen him with but they looked happy one of the pictures was from the Riviera and another was at Zak's house so she was in Vegas with him. I take a deep breath I hope this wasn't going to be a bad idea and that I wouldn't regret doing this I type out a short message then send it to her she might be Zak's girlfriend but hopefully that wouldn't stop her from meeting with me. If Zak found out he wasn't going to be happy with her and he would probably try to kill me in the process maybe there was a chance I could at least be friends with her depending on how things went after we meet up with each other.
