Chapter 4

Zak's POV

I get up early the next morning to go see Ashley before our meeting I was going to need all the help I could get since Aaron had something against Mal. I walk in and Ashley looks up at me "Good morning Zak." I nod "Hey Ash can I talk to you please?" She nods and I take a deep breath "Aaron doesn't like my new girlfriend he thinks she will do the same thing Vanessa did but I know Mal Ash she would never do that to me she loves me and I love her you've got to help convince the guys that she isn't like that." Ashley was one of my friends I had never asked her for anything like this before I'm brought out of my thoughts when I hear her laughing I look up at her "What's funny?" "You Zak you're really in love with this girl since you came to me for help and my answer is yes I will help you." I smile then give her a quick hug "Thank you Ashley." "You're welcome so can I meet her?" I knew that was coming but it wasn't a bad idea plus Mal could use at least one friend who was a girl to hang out with while Vanessa is on her honeymoon. "Yeah you can meet her we still have a few hours before the meeting come with me." I walk outside to my car get in then Ashley gets in her car and we both head back to my house.

Ashley's POV

I follow Zak into his house and I go from friend mode and start observing things in his house so I can see how this girl acts around Zak I follow him into his kitchen and see a girl standing there with brown hair in shorts and a t-shirt Zak walks over to her she turns around and smiles at him and he smiles back it was one of Zak's real smiles and only a few things could make him really smile like that. Zak takes her hand and they both walk over to me and right away I can see the differences in this one compared to the women of Zak's past she has long brown hair and green eyes and pale skin most of Zak's exes were blonde, blue eyed and covered with a spray on tan I liked her she was pretty the other difference is the clothes she was wearing she was comfortable in the clothes but she wasn't exposing the majority of her body like some of the others had done in the past and the last difference which is the one I might have liked the most is she wasn't hanging or draping herself all over Zak she was content just for the two of them to be holding hands I definitely liked her already. Zak looks at the two of us "Mallory this is Ashley Wasley Jay's wife Ash this is my girlfriend Mallory." I smile and she smiles back I look at her "Nice to meet you I thought Zak was going to keep you hidden away from us forever." She blushes "He doesn't like to share." We stand there or awhile and talk I could tell we were going to be good friends and she wasn't up to anything like Aaron was saying she was Zak looks at me "Ash the meeting?" He gives her a kiss on the head then walks out of the house I stay for a few more minutes then look back at her "It was great meeting you I'm glad Zak found someone like you I can tell we are going to be great friends it's going to so nice to have another girl to spend time with." She smiles at me "Thank you and girl time would be really nice "I'm lucky to have a guy like Zak he's amazing." We exchange numbers then I leave Zak's house to go to the meeting I don't know what Aaron is thinking but from what I saw after meeting her she didn't have a vindictive bone in her body I saw how she looked at Zak and you could tell they really had feelings for each other.

Aaron's POV

Channel Executives, the rest of the crew and Zak were all standing in front of me now was the time for me to get everyone to see my point on Zak's new girlfriend. "The show suffered a lot the last time he ended a relationship and now since he's been with her he postponed our big lock down in Italy I'm just saying this could end badly." The guys looked torn about what I said my eyes meet Ashley's and she looks pissed off then I meet the eyes of my best friend Zak his face is emotionless and his eyes are hard and cold and I know that I struck a nerve by brining Mallory up. I had a point though but there was a small part of me that was saying maybe we were wrong about this.

Zak's POV

I step outside and try to calm down Aaron was starting to push this too far with how much he disliked Mallory she had never done anything to him and he didn't know anything about her I sigh and close my eyes and let the sun wash over me. "Rough day Zakula?" I smile to myself then open my eyes and look up to see Mal standing there propped against my car the breeze is softly blowing her hair she looks beautiful. I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her then kiss her head "You have no idea how happy I am to see you right now." She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me I kiss back and tickle her sides which leads to a tickle fight something I had never done in any of my past relationships but it felt nice and I liked it.

Ashley's POV

I look up when Billy and Jay come in "What's up guys?" they look at each other then Jay sits down next to me "Do you think Aaron is right about Zak's girlfriend?" I let out a sigh then roll my eyes Billy looks at me "We haven't ever met her so we don't know anything about this girl." Just as I go to say something the three of us hear laughing coming from outside we walk over to the window and look outside and we see Zak tickling Mallory and both of them are laughing and smiling I turn around and look at Billy and Jay "Now tell me does that look like someone who wants to hurt Zak?" They shake their heads then Jay looks at me "We were wrong." "Yes you were I've met and talked to her this morning she's really nice I saw her with Zak she isn't like the others, she doesn't hang all over him and I can tell she really has feelings for Zak." We stand there for a while and watch the two of them outside as they continue their tickle fight we all knew that Aaron was wrong about her.
