Chapter 62

Mallory's POV

I look up as Zak walks in the room and stretches out on the bed next to me I wrap my arms around him and he lays his head on my chest. I start running my fingers through his hair his hands slowly slip under my shirt and I feel his hand on my stomach for the first time since I told him I was pregnant he looks up at me and I'm afraid of what he's going to say to me since he was so surprised when I told him about the baby. "That's my baby?" I smile nod "That's our baby Zakula." Then Zak does something unexpected he pulls my shirt up even more then his lips start traveling down my stomach his eyes meet mine "I love you Mal I know I didn't show it but I'm really about this." I smile and feel relief was through me Zak still wanted me and he wanted our baby. I continue running my fingers through Zak's hair and he eventually falls asleep I lay my head against his shoulder and yawn for being a little over three months pregnant I was already exhausted I fall asleep curled up with Zak and I start dreaming about our baby a little boy that looks exactly like Zak.

Zak's POV

I stretch when I wake up and look over at Mal who's still sleeping I smile and kiss her head then I get out of bed and walk in the kitchen to feed Gracie and Athena then I sit outside and start thinking. I couldn't believe that I was going to be a father I knew I told her we could have kids one day and that happened to be now I was happy though I did want this baby with her and I was going to do whatever it took to be a good dad she wouldn't be able to go on lockdowns anymore and if she did she wasn't going anywhere near the locations I didn't want to take any chances with her being pregnant. I pick up my keys then leave Mallory a note letting her know I was going to Aaron's house and I would try to be back before she woke up I leave the note on the table then walk out of the house get in my car and start the drive to Aaron's she had told Vanessa because she was her best friend plus in a few months her and Kevin would be having their baby. I wanted to tell Aaron because he was my brother and best friend so I wanted him to be one of the first people who know about my baby.

Aaron's POV

I hear knocking on the door I wasn't expecting anyone and if Zak needed anything he would usually call me I walk over open the door and see Zak. "Hey bro how's it going?" Zak shrugs "Things are good I actually have something I need to talk to you about." That didn't sound good I really hope it wasn't relationship problems already they had only been married for almost two months so hopefully since they had been through so much together he would try to fix it first. "Sure come on in is everything okay?" He nods then walks in the house and I shut the door we both walk in the living room and Zak sits down on the couch I look over at him as he runs his hands through his hair. "Is everything okay bro?" He takes a deep breath "Mal isn't coming with us on lockdowns for a while if she does she will be staying at the hotel." I get a little concerned by this "Bro does she have an attachment or something did something follow her home?" He shakes his head "No it's nothing like that she's pregnant Aaron I'm going to be a father." I couldn't believe it Zak was going to be a dad this was surprising but I did win the bet with Billy though. "That's great bro I'm happy for you." They would be great parents I could tell that already.

Billy's POV

Later that day I get a call from Aaron I wondered what he wanted I pick up my phone and answer "Hey Aaron what's going on?" He gets really excited when I ask this "Zak was just here you owe me twenty bucks!!!!" I stop moving around and I remember the bet I made with Aaron after Zak said he wanted to propose. "is she pregnant what did Zak say?" I laugh I guess I had been wrong about it being in six months hopefully they would say just how far along she whenever they did decide to tell all of us Mallory was pregnant until then I would keep quiet and pretend I didn't know anything about it. Zak and Mallory were a great couple she had changed Zak into a different person with her help I knew that Zak could get over his issues and fears about being a good father I was happy for both of them I knew that Zak would freak out and be over protective like he usually was when it came to Mal. I didn't see it going over well when he tried to tell her where she could and couldn't go during the lockdowns and I looked forward to seeing how Zak handled it.
