Chapter 20

Zak's POV
My search doesn't work out I start looking harder than ever I walk down the street with my hands in my pockets and I begin to think that I should just give in and call her I went to that hotel but she wasn't staying there. I look up and stop walking and see her she's standing outside of a restaurant a guy walks out and wraps his arms around her waist she turns around and smiles then wraps her arms around his neck and they kiss when they pull away I realize who the guy is its AJ from Kevin's group I had lost another girl one that I loved to a singer. I can't believe that she moved on I turn to walk away but stop and start walking over to them I'm the reason she's with him I'm going to have to fight to get my girl back I stand next to them and cough then they both look at me "What's going on here?" Mallory looks at me "I'm seeing AJ now." Hearing that hurt but I wasn't going to show it I look at her "I'm so sorry about what I did I will do whatever it takes to be with you." I swallow my pride and meet her eyes "Can I please have another chance with you?" She shakes her head "I think you should leave. You hurt me really bad I don't want to see you or hear your apology." I would have to fight hard to get her back I nod my head "Just think about giving me a chance."

AJ'S POV
I couldn't believe this the ghostbuster had a lot of nerve talking to her I had a really great night planned for me and Mallory it was our second date. I step in between the two of them and push Zak away from her "You need to leave." He pushes me "She's mine okay you don't know her like I do." I look at him then shove him again "She's with me now!!! I can make her happy and I would never compare her to someone else because there is no one else in the world like her!!!" I don't want Mallory to leave with Zak I want her to be with me I have feelings for her and I would treat her a lot better than he would and if I had to leave and be gone for over a week I would take her with me I turn around and look at her "I love you!!!" She looks at me but doesn't say anything I turn back and see the ghostbuster walking away I wrap my arms around her waist "I want to continue what we have." Mal looks at me "I'm confused AJ I need some time to think." I step away and watch as she starts walking toward the park where we would go for walks and eat ice cream.

Mallory's POV
I start walking through the park alone and I think about what Zak said and what AJ said I really wanted to talk to Ness right now but I know I'm the one who would have to make the decision and when I did I would end up hurting Zak or AJ. Zak had apologized he said he would do anything to be with me and he had asked for another chance I saw how hurt Zak was and that hurt me when Zak and I were together I felt safe not only because of his size but because I knew that in his arms or just sitting with him at home Zak would never let anything happen to me and I still loved him. Then there was AJ we haven't been together long and he was in love with me he might be the bad boy out of the group but he helped put me back together after I was broken and at night he would hold me in his arms while I was sleeping he made me feel like I was the only one for him and the truth is I loved AJ too. I walk around and think until I reach my decision I take a deep breath because I know this isn't going to be easy I leave the park and go to find AJ because we needed to talk.

AJ'S POV
I look up when Mallory walks in she smiles then walks over and sits down next to me I reach over and hold her hand "How was your walk?" She nods "I had a lot of thinking to do I had a big decision to make." I take a deep breath because I knew there was a chance she wouldn't pick me I look over at her "What did you decide baby?" She squeezes my hand and looks at me "I just want you to know I really do love you AJ but Zak is the one for me I'm sorry and I don't want to hurt you." I was hurt and disappointed he would never treat her the way I did and he didn't deserve her I put my hand on the side of her face and turn her to where she is looking at me. "I love you I always will I'm always going to be here for you we will always be friends and if the ghostbuster ever hurts you again I'll kick his ass." She laughs then hugs me and wraps her arms around my neck I wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her she kisses back then the two of us start packing her things it takes a few hours then she's ready to leave me we stand in front of the door and she looks at me. "I love you AJ." I smile "I love you too." We hug again then I help her put her bags in her car and I watch her leave me and go back the ghostbuster and it broke my heart.

Zak's POV
I hear my door open and close then I hear something hit the floor I walk out of the kitchen and see Mallory standing there in my living room she looks at me and smiles I smile back then walk over to her and wrap my arms around her waist. She kisses me and wraps her arms around my neck I kiss back then run my hands down her back I pull away and look down at her "Come with me I have something to show you outside." I hold her hand and we walk outside she stops when she sees the puppy playing with Gracie she looks up at me "Is she for me?" I smile and nod "Yes she is she's all yours." "Thank you Zak she's so cute." She walks over and picks her up then starts petting her Gracie walks over and gives Mallory a huge lick on the face I knew Gracie really missed her I walk over and sit down in the grass next to her "So what are you going to name the newest addition to our family?" She smiles and looks down at the puppy in her arms "I think I'm going to name her Athena." It wasn't a bad name especially for a Rottweiler I smile then reach over and start rubbing Athena's ears "Welcome to the family Athena Bagans." Mallory smiles and kisses the side of my neck I missed her and I'm happy she was home again.

Aaron's POV
I get a call from Zak asking me if I can come to his house he hadn't done that in over a month and the only time he had anything to do with us once the lockdown was over was during editing so I was concerned about what was going on I stop my car then get out and walk in his house. "Hey G where are you?" "Outside Aaron." I walk outside and see Zak with Gracie and there's a puppy out there with him "What's up Zak?" He looks at me "I thought you would like to say to my house guest." I look up and see Mallory walking out of the house and over to us thank God they had gotten back together I could already see the difference in Zak the moodiness and depression had disappeared and the regular Zak was back Zak stands up and walks over to us Mallory looks at me and smiles "Hey Aaron." I walk over and give her a huge hug she hugs back "It's good to see you too Aaron." I pull away and notice when Zak slips his hand into hers he may not want to admit it but Zak needed this girl we could all see that even if he couldn't. I don't leave right away I stay for a few hours and we end up sharing a pizza maybe things would be okay now since they were back together.
