Chapter 35

Jay's POV

While William goes in first we all sit and wait to see what happens we catch a voice and when it's played back we hear "Listen to me." After that we see a shadow then a few waves of light the night was starting off really well with a lot of great evidence. For a little while everything is quiet then we hear a shocking sound come from inside the cave with William Porter it's the sound of a pig grunting while we were doing interviews we had been old hat the Bell Witch would sometimes appear as an animal Zak mentions that this could be her once William finishes his part of the lockdown we all go in and get locked inside the cave.

Mallory's POV

I take a deep breath and sigh then glance at my phone only a little after midnight my second night in the truck was proving to be a really long one I was worried even though I could hear everything that was going on in the cave with Zak and the rest of the crew. I yawn and feel my eyelids getting heavier I must have dozed off because when I wake up I hear Zak talking and I know that something is wrong because Zak sounds drained and by the sound of Billy's voice I know that something is wrong I sit up and listen to everything play out but I can't do anything for Zak or the crew because they are locked in the cave and I'm locked out.

Zak's POV

During one point of the lockdown I feel a supercharged sense of energy and emotion I start getting dizzy and feel sick I look over at Billy then try to pull myself together so I can go talk to him. I walk over and see him bent over and he starts telling me about the pain he is in like his spine had been pulled out of his back and I become concerned because I feel that right now he's physically, emotionally and mentally unstable as the lockdown continues we get more evidence including an EVP of "Here I come." Just as an orb comes flying toward me when we get out the next morning as the sun is rising the guys walk over and get in the van and they drive back to the hotel I slowly make my way over to the truck I smile when I see my girl waiting for me bundled up in one of my jackets I let her borrow. I walk over to her then pull her to me and wrap my arms around her waist then she hugs back I needed this.

Nick G'S POV

I'm sitting outside of my house watching Annabelle play I smile then look down when my phone vibrates and I laugh when I read the message. "How did you actually handle being on a lockdown I stayed outside in a truck for two nights and I'm exhausted." I remembered her telling me about Zak agreeing to meet her family while they were in Tennessee during this lockdown we talk for a while then she tells me that she's going to bed for possibly the rest of the day I laugh and reply back. I looked forward to going back to meet her in Vegas to see how things went with Zak meeting her parents no one knew that we were friends but I considered her a close friend and Zak was lucky to have her.
