Chapter 65

Aaron's POV
We were leaving for a lockdown today right now I was on my way to Zak's house with Billy he wanted the chance to see Mallory before his flight later today. Zak and I would be meeting with Bacon later to get the RV the lockdown would be over a week this time since Zak and Mallory's baby was due next month we all wanted this lockdown to be a big one since Zak's time off started next month. Billy stops his car then we get out and walk up to Zak's house and knock on the door Zak opens it "Hey guys what are you doing here we still have a little time before we have to leave for the lockdown." "I know but we wanted to visit and see Mal since she isn't getting to go with us this time." He nods then we follow him inside Billy walks in the living room to talk to Mallory I look over at Zak. "How are you feeling Zak?" His eyes go to the living room "She's tired a lot now that it's almost over Alex kicks a lot but I can't wait to meet our son though I want this though but I'm scared to death about the baby." I laugh Zak could piss off demons but he was afraid of meeting his son.

Billy's POV
I walk in the living room and find Mallory sitting on the couch with Gracie and Athena at her side she looks up when she sees me. "Hey Bill how are you?" I walk over and sit in a chair "I'm good we're getting ready for the lockdown later how do you feel about not going with us?" She sighs then looks at the dogs sitting next to her and I start to feel bad that I asked her the question. "I miss getting to travel and go with you guys even though I was ah nerve center with you and Jay or sleeping in a car." I look at her "We all miss you being with us Mal especially Zak but next month when you and Zak have your baby missing the lockdowns will be worth it." She nods "Thanks Billy keep an eye on Zak for me okay try to get him to go easy on the provoking and make sure he gets a cleansing too so nothing follows him home." I knew she would worry about Zak but all of the stress and worry about Zak wasn't good for her. "I'll take care of him for you I promise." She smiles and hugs me "Than you." During this lockdown I had a job to do I would keep my promise.

Mallory's POV
Aaron and Billy leave then a few hours later it's time for Zak to leave for the lockdown like all of the other times he puts his bags down by the door then turns around and looks at me. I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his waist then lay my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around me I would miss him a lot and I wanted to go with him more than anything but I knew I needed to be at home. I feel a sharp kick I guess Alexander didn't want Zak to go either Zak puts his hand where I just felt the kick "I'll be home soon I'll miss both of you be careful Mal if you need anything call my mom and she will come over okay?" I knew Zak was worried about being gone and being away from me and the baby even though I wasn't due for another month. "I will be fine just relax calm down and be careful during the lockdown." "Always am." I kiss him and wrap my arms around his neck Zak kisses back then pulls me closer I run my fingers through his hair and put one of my hands on the back of his neck he pulls away and looks at me. "Time to go I love you." "I love you too Zak." He kisses my head grabs his bags then walks out of the house. I would miss him I hope the week flew by.

Zak's POV
I would be gone for over a week I had been doing this job for a while now I loved it but this was the first time I didn't want to go and I really hated that we were going to be gone so long. I missed Mallory already I didn't want to be away from her especially with her due date next month I didn't want to miss a single moment with her I had gotten lucky so far I was there for the ultrasound when we found out our baby was a boy, I heard his heartbeat and I had been home to feel him kick for the first time. I let out a sigh and run my hands through my hair and look out the window of the RV I wasn't happy about this but I knew that in order to get my time off I knew that I had to do this lockdown. Aaron pats me on the shoulder then he starts making a video for Snapchat Bacon stops the RV I get out and start walking down the road. This was going to be a long week and I needed to get it together if this episode would be any good I had to focus and get my thoughts straightened out.
