ONE MONTH LATER

Nick G'S POV

Mallory had called when her and Zak had gotten back from their honeymoon saying that she needed to talk to me about something I was worried because there was something that made her sound different. I was sitting at the Starbucks where we would usually meet and I look up when she walks in and right away I could tell that something was wrong her eyes had dark circles under them, and she was pale she walks over and sits down in front of me "Hey Nick." I smile "Hey Mal are you okay?" She takes a deep breath then looks at me "I think I'm pregnant Nick I took a test in England but I haven't seen a doctor yet." My wife had gone through it so I should have been able to see it. I look at her "Have you told Zak yet?" She shakes her head "No I haven't I want to be sure first I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon I was wondering if you would go with me so I don't have to go through this by myself?" I could tell that she was scared and that was a first for me but I understood that she needed a friend right now. "I'll go with you." She smiles then hugs me "Thank you Nick." "You're welcome." I hope this afternoon went well and that Zak would take the news well.

Mallory's POV

I sit on the examining table at the doctor's office with Nick sitting in the chair next to me I take a deep breath and try to relax the test were done so now I was just waiting on the results. "Relax if you are pregnant stress isn't good for the baby Mal." I nod then try to follow Nick's advice and a few minutes later the doctor walks in. He opens my chart then looks at me "We have the results back from your pregnancy test it was positive and it looks like you're three months pregnant." I start thinking then I remember the time Zak came home from the lockdown that was when it happened "Thank you Doctor." "You're welcome." We talk for a little longer then I turn around and look at Nick and he's smiling. "You're going to be a mom you have to tell Zak." I nod I couldn't believe it I was pregnant Zak and I were going to have a baby I know that he said we could have kids one day I just hope that now wasn't too soon for Zak Nick takes me home and I get in my car then drive to Zak's office. I just hope Zak would be happy about this I take another deep breath then try to calm down during the drive.

Zak's POV

I look up when Mallory walks in and I smile as she walks over to me "Hello Mrs. Bagans." She hugs me and wraps her arms around my waist "Hi Zakula I have something to tell you." I look down at her and see that she is really happy about something "Tell me." "I'm pregnant Zak we are going to have a baby!! I'm already three months along." I couldn't believe this I was shocked I wasn't expecting this now Mal and I had only been married for a month. I pull away and start pacing this was too soon I wanted more time with her there were so many things I wanted to do so many places and lockdowns I wanted her to go on so she could experience it now she was already three months pregnant I turn back and look at her the happiness on her face had faded and now she looked worried probably from how I'm reacting to her news. She sits down I sigh then walk over and get on my knees in front of her "Hey I'm so sorry I reacted like that." She looks down "It's fine I understand that you don't want this." I put my hands on her face "No I do want this I'm happy it surprised me that's all." She hugs me and I hug back then wrap my arms around her I was going to be a dad I just hoped I was going to be a good father.

Vanessa's POV

I look away from Kevin who's talking to my baby bump when my phone starts ringing the months had seemed to fly by with my pregnancy I was already at six months. I pick up the phone and answer "Hello?" "Ness I have great news!!!" I sit up and smile it was Mallory and she sounded very happy about something I could only imagine what it might be "What's the news Mal?" Kevin sits up on the couch and looks at me then I go back to Mallory on the phone. "I'm pregnant Ness Zak and I are going to have a baby!!!!" "Mal that's great I'm so happy for you!!!" I really was happy I couldn't believe it I knew that Mal would be a great mom and Zak would finally be a dad for someone who didn't want kids he was great with them. "How far are you Mal?" "Three months." I had been right at the wedding when I told Kevin that I thought she was pregnant "That's great Mal our kids will be close in age they might even date one day." She laughs and I see Kevin shaking his head Mal and I talk for a little longer then I hang up both of us were going to have babies life was good for everyone.
