Chapter 59

DAY OF THE WEDDING

Zak's POV

I wake up and the first thing I do is reach for my phone I couldn't believe I was getting married today I pull up her number and wait for Mal to answer. A few minutes later she answers "Good morning Zak." I smile "Good morning how are you?" I hear her take a deep breath "I'm good I'm really nervous though." I run my hands through my hair "I'm nervous too sweetie. I can't believe we are getting married today." "I can't believe it either and I can't wait to see you later." I close my eyes and think about her I couldn't wait to see her either. I was really looking forward to the next month after today I had time off and our honeymoon was going to last for the month just the two of us alone together. "I can't believe this is really happening." "I know I miss you Zak." "I miss you too sweetie." The door opens and Aaron walks in followed by Kevin "Yo Zak come on time for breakfast let's get going." Kevin looks at me "We have a lot to do before the wedding." I nod "I love you Mal." "I love you too Zakula see you soon." I hang up then throw on a shirt and a pair of sweats then get up and follow Kevin and Aaron only a few more hours until my wedding.

Mallory's POV

After breakfast I brush my teeth then we get our stuff and start getting ready Zak and I were having an outdoor wedding so we would be getting ready inside. Ness and I arrive I sit down in front of a mirror and Ellen starts working on my hair while Vanessa, and Zak's sisters did my makeup I take a deep breath and try to calm my remaining nerves about the wedding only a few more hours to go once my hair and makeup is done I stand up and they start helping me into my dress. While Vanessa is lacing it up in the back I notice something feels different my dress isn't tight around the stomach because I haven't gained weight but it felt tight around my chest but I wasn't sure on why I shake it off and look down at my dress it was perfect somehow the next few hours fly by and when I look away from the mirror my dad has walked in the room, the music starts and Ellen walks out next. Zak's sisters are next with his groomsmen then I see Kevin as he walks out with Vanessa. I take a deep breath this was it time to marry Zak as my dad starts walking me down the aisle I look up and see Zak waiting for me he was mine and I was going to be his.

AJ'S POV

The music starts and everyone stands up as Mallory starts walking down the aisle the man with her must be her dad. She looked beautiful her dress really contrasted with her pale skin her lips were full and a dark red color her green eyes were shining and popping with the surrounding dark make up and her long hair was falling down her back. I start thinking about Mallory and I wish that she was walking toward me and that I was the one standing at the altar we could have been happy I look at Zak and see how he's looking at her nothing else mattered to him he only saw her I had never saw a look that was full of such love and want my eyes go from him to Mallory. She looks really happy walking to Zak and the minute he takes her hand they both smile at each other he was what she wanted the ghostbuster made her happy plus the two of them really loved each other I understood that and I respected that too all I wanted to be now was her friend. Today she would marry Zak and be his wife she would be his not mine but she would always have a special place in my heart.

Zak's POV

Not long after Mallory's dad places her hand in mine and goes to sit by her mom Father Sebastiaan begins and I start thinking about every moment that has brought us here today. From meeting her in Kevin's basement and being rude to her because I thought she had a boyfriend and I thought I was still in love with Ness then how things slowly changed between us. I think about our first official date, the moment I kissed her for the first time asking her to be my girlfriend and move to Vegas with me then breaking up and almost losing her then getting her back I look at her and see the necklace I got her around her neck. Father Sebastiaan looks at me "Zak your vows?" I take a deep breath and meet her beautiful green eyes that I wanted our children to have especially if we ever had a daughter. "I love you more than anything I'm a changed man because of you. Since we met you taught me about life and how to live it not just go through every day existing. I can't wait to start my life with you and I look forward to all of the adventures that will come our way."
