Chapter 23

A/N: I went out of my comfort zone a little bit in this chapter. There is some mature content alluded to in this chapter. Lol

Maya POV

When Lucas and I got home from Mom's Lucas and I went right into the bedroom to change in something more comfortable. I settled on one of his t-shirts then went out into the living room to join Lucas who was laying on the couch waiting for me. Our plan was to cuddle and watch a movie. I laid down on his chest just like I did in the morning. He grabbed the blanket off the back the back of the couch, draping it over us, and then wrapped his arms around me. We picked out a movie on Netflix and shortly after it started I ended up falling asleep on him but it turns out he fell asleep too.

I really had to pee so I attempted to quietly move off him without waking him but as I tried to get a way he pulled me closer to him.

"You're not allowed to leave." he mumbled as he tightened his grip around me.

"As much as I want to lay like this forever I'm gong to pee on you if you don't let me up. "I giggled" I'll be back in two minutes."

Lucas let me go so ran off to the bathroom and was back out to him in two minutes just like I said. I laid back down with him and he put the blanket over me.

"So much for a movie night." he said as I cuddled into him.

"Yeah if somebody wouldn't have had me up at the ass crack I might have been able to make it through it." I joked.

"You certainly weren't complaining." he said and I chuckled.

"Yeah well Maya Hart gets what she wants." I replied.

Lucas placed his hand under the blanket and brushed it across my thigh causing me to shudder"Hmm is that so? What about Lucas Friar?" he said in a low husky voice.

I felt his hand slip into my panties causing my breathing to hitch. I nuzzled my face into his neck trying so hard to respond but as soon his hand my made contact with me I couldn't muster up the words to speak. He pulled his hand away and I lifted my head up to look him.

"So not fair." I replied to him and he chuckled.

"I love that with a simple little touch." he said then did it again and I sucked my breath in "You can't resist me. It's quite sexy."

"When you do shit like that it's kind of hard not to." I retorted.

Lucas did it again then pulled his hand away. He was teasing me and loving every minute of it. I let out a small moan as my eyes rolled back into my head. Each time he pulled his hand away I wanted more of it.

"Mhmm stop teasing me." I moaned into his neck.

I lifted my head up off his chest and placed my lips on his kissing him softly. He smiled into my face knowing full well he was doing a good job. After making love on the couch Lucas and I went and cuddled in bed. It was so nice to be able to have a night like this without any kids.

Lucas hovered over me and looked down at me with a smile "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me Maya." he said before kissing me softly.

"You're the best thing that has happened to me too. I was hesitant for the longest time when it came to dating again but you broke me of that." I said as I looked up at him with a smile on my face. "No one has ever made me feel the way that you do. Even with that one simple touch. I love you. "

"I love you too more than words can say and I feel the same way as you. I was always so worried about Jordan getting to attached to whoever I was dating. I know that this one thing he wants in his life is a Mom." he replied. "I was always so scared of relationship failure and him getting hurt that I couldn't bring myself to date someone. But with you it's like the moment I laid eyes on you I felt something there."

I started laughing and he looked at me with a confused look on his face "It's not what you said that I'm laughing at. It's the fact that I was the same way when I first saw you. It made me think about how Riley called me out for checking you out the minute you entered her classroom. Lily and I are so lucky to have you both. I feel safe with you."

"Maya could I ask you something?" Lucas said to me.

"Yeah of course, anything." I said with a smile.

Lucas took his finger and brushed it long my jawline then smiled at me "I know it's only 2 months into our relationship but I truly feel like you are the one for me. My soulmate who makes me complete. If we ever did take that step in our relationship I was wondering if you would ever consider adopting Jordan?"

Lucas took me by complete surprise by asking me that question but it made me so happy that he did. "Yes, of course I would. Honestly I was just telling my mom today that I'd love nothing more than to be his Mom but at this point in the relationship I felt it was too soon because you never know what could happen."

"And I'm in total agreement with you. It's too soon for that. I was just curious as to what you think because he truly does love you." he said with a smile and I pulled him to me and placed a small kiss on his lips.

I pulled away and looked up at him with a smile "I love him too."

Lucas looked at me and smiled 'You're so beautiful, Maya. I'm so glad that you are mine."

"You're too sweet. You are quite the beautiful specimen if I say so myself and I'm so glad that that I can say you are mine too cause I can kiss you anytime I want."

Lucas chuckled "You can do more than that anytime you want."

I rolled my eyes and chuckled "That too."

Lucas and I talked a little bit longer then decided once it got late that we better get to bed since we'd have to get the kids tomorrow. On the plus side at least we could sleep in and not worry about any small children waking us up in the morning. Cuddling and sleeping in his arms was my most favorite thing ever.
