Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 29

A/N: More Lucaya in the next chapter I promise! Just wanted to do a chapter where Maya got to know his parents. There some Lucaya cuteness towards the end.  Just a warning though it is a little bit mature. Lol once again I come out of my comfort zone so hopefully those of you who are reading this are comfortable with it. 

Maya POV

While Lucas and his father got the horses ready to ride I hung out with Lucas's mom. I loved her. She was super sweet and so nice. Lily and Jordan asked to go out and play on his swing set. I told them that was fine but that Lily needed to be careful with her arm. Lucas mom suggested we go out on the porch and sit that way I could keep an eye on Lily. I thought that was a good idea so that is what we did. 

"Thank you for making Lucas so happy." Sarah said as we sat down on the porch swing that was on the porch. 

"You're welcome. He makes me so happy too." I replied. "Lily adores him and Jordan both." 

"I've honestly never seen Lucas this happy. Not even when he was with Jordan's low life Mom." she replied. "It's good to see my son this happy." 

"My mom said the same thing to him about me. Luckily Lily's dad has always been great so I've not had an issue there but I've not dated anyone since him. I've always been concerned about Lily and whats best for her but I knew there was something different about Lucas when I saw him." 

"It was meant to be. You guys are both single parents it just worked out so good. I know that Jordan loves you and Lily too. You guys are all he talks about. He talks a lot about you though." she smiled. 

"I love that kid. He's so sweet." I replied. 

"He tells me all the time he wants you to be his Mom." she replied. 

I nodded "I know, I want to be his Mom too but I worry about it not working out between me and Lucas. I don't want him to heartbroken." 

"Yeah I know what you mean. It's good what you are doing right now. Lucas told me you like art. I have knack for art too. Do you paint?" she asked me. 

"Yep. I love anything art. I paint ,draw, sketch, anything art related I love it." I chuckled. 

"I have a bunch of art supplies. We'll have to do some art together while you are here." she said. 

"I would love that." I said to her with a smile. 

Lucas's mom and I were chatting when Jordan and Lily rolled Jorden in his little battery operated truck and Lily driving his battery operated gator. I couldn't help but chuckle at the two of them. They were so cute playing together. 

"Hi Maya." Jordan said with a grin. "I have a truck like Daddy's." 

"Daddy has a really cool truck doesn't he? And Liliana you be careful with you arm okay?" I said to her. 

"My truck is better than Daddy's. I can hook his iPod into it and play music. His is so old that you can't even do that." Jordan said I started laughing.

"I know Mommy. Jordan is showing me around the Farm." she said with a big grin. 

"I see that. You guys be careful and don't go to far because Lucas will be coming soon." 

"Jordan you make sure to keep up with Lily so she's not behind you okay?" Sarah said to him. 

"I will Nanna! Lets go Lily." Jordan said as he moved forward. 

We watched the two of them drive off and then we chatted for a bit longer Lucas and his dad came back to get the kids. Lucas and I went and gathered them and of course Jordan wanted me to see horse so I went along with them. Lucas dad lifted Lily up onto the horse and she sat in front of him.
