Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 28

A/N: Wow! Thank you to all of you for the love on the last chapter. I'm so glad you like this story as much as I do writing it. I'm doing a time jump in this chapter. A Lucaya family Christmas vacation in Texas! This is going to go on for quite a few chapters as I have an upcoming story arc. Also I realize you guys are going to be wanting more so I'm in a writing mood tonight and have all kinds of ideas so I'm going to work on the next chapter after this one.  :)

Maya POV

Lucas, the kids and I had boarded the plane to go to Texas for our Christmas/New Years Vacation. The kids were so excited and Jordan couldn't wait to see his Nanna. I was so nervous about meeting his parents and Lucas knowing me all to well knew I was nervous. He gently placed his hand on mind and I looked up at him.

"Relax, everything is going to be fine." he said with a smile.

"What if she doesn't like me?" I said quiet enough that the kids wouldn't hear.

"Maya, she loves you already and she hasn't even met you yet." Lucas chuckled.

"Fine, I will try to relax." I sighed.

The flight was a direct one that took an hour. The kids slept the entire time but once we got them awake they were super excited. Lucas grabbed my hand as we got off the place. We made sure the kids were right with us and once off we made our way to baggage claim.

"Daddy, I can't wait to see Nanna and Papa!" Jordan said excitedly.

"I know bud we will be seeing her in a few short seconds I think she and Papa are at baggage claim waiting for us." Lucas replied with a smile.

"Oh my god Lucas we forgot their booster seats." I said and he turned to look at me.

"Oh that's right I was supposed to tell you Mom and Dad bought them each one to have here. She didn't want us to worry about lugging them on the plane." he replied and then I relaxed.

"Bless her she didn't have to do that but I'm glad she did." I said and he chuckled.

As Lucas the kids and I entered baggage claim Jordan let go of Lucas's hand started running towards a woman with dirty blonde hair and green eyes. I knew immediately that was Lucas's Mom. Standing beside her was a tall man in a cowboy hat who I assumed to be Lucas's dad.

"Nanna!" Jordan said as he ran up to her excitedly.

"Hello rugrat!" the man said and Jordan smiled at him.

"Hi Papa!" he replied.

She picked him up and placed lots of kisses all over his face. "Oh how I've missed you, Jordan" she said to him as she hugged him tightly.

"Hi Mama." Lucas said as he leaned into give her a kiss on the cheek then he turned to look at the man standing beside his Mom. "Hi Dad!"

"Hi baby, it's so good to see you." she replied as she held Jordan in her arms.

"Hello son! Glad you all landed safely." he replied.

Lucas took my hand and pulled me closer to him "Mama and Dad I'd like you to meet my girlfriend Maya and her daughter Lily. Maya this is my mom Sarah and dad Tony."

"Hi Maya it's so nice to finally meet you!" Sarah said as she pulled me into a hug.

"Nice to meet you Maya. I've heard lots about you." Tony said causing me to blush.

"Nice to meet you as well. Liliana can you say Hi?" I said to her she was kind of being shy.

She peeked her head out from behind my leg and smiled "Hi." she said softly.
