Maya POV

The day that Lucas and I spent together yesterday was perfect. I'm so glad that Riley and Farkle allowed us to use their Yacht. The weekend was fun but I couldn't wait to see Lily. I always missed her so much whenever she was at her Dads for the weekend. I'm so thankful that her Dad and I have such a great relationship. There are some kids whose parents are in the same situation and they just don't get along. I'm glad that for Lily's sake Caleb and I reached a mutual understanding that there would be no fighting and that she would come always come first. It also helped that Caleb had such a wonderful girlfriend who cared for Lily like her own. I showed up to Caleb's at 3:00 to pick up Lily. I planned to take her to the park and get ice cream afterwards. I also decided to text Lucas and see if he wanted to meet us there to which he agreed. We discussed it and settled on the fact that we would let onto the kids that it was simple play date if they asked.

I knocked on the door to Caleb's apartment and he answered it a few seconds later. "Hi Maya, come in." he replied as he stepped to side so I can come in.

"How are you doing?" I asked him with a smile.

"I'm good, thanks. Lily, Mommy's here." he hollered to her and it wasn't two seconds before she came running over to the door.

"MOMMY!" she yelled excitedly and I bent down and picked her up.

"Hi baby girl. I missed you." I said as she wrapped her little arms around my neck.

"I missed you too, Mommy." Lily replied as she nuzzled her head into my neck.

"Here is Lily's bag." Caleb said as he handed her bag to me.

"Thanks. Lily tell your dad bye." I said to her and she lifted her head up off my shoulder.

"Good bye Daddy." she said with a smile.

"Bye munchkin. I love you. Call me later." he said as he leaned into give her a kiss.

After leaving Caleb's with Lily I buckled her into her booster seat and then got into the drivers side of the car. I figured I better tell her now what we were doing.

"So Lilybug how would you like to go play with Jordan at the playground?" I asked and he immediately she started grinning ear to ear.

"I would love it Mommy!" she exclaimed. "Are we going to go now?"

"We sure are. Jordan's dad and I thought you guys would like a play date." I said with a smile.

"Yay!" she said and I giggled because it reminded me of how much Riley is rubbing off on her.

Lucas and I were meeting at the Billy Johnson playground in Central Park. It didn't take Lily and I that long to get there and when we arrived Lucas was already there with Jordan whose eyes lit up when he saw Lily.

"Lily! You are finally here." Jordan said as he ran over to us. "Hi Maya."

I gave him a warm smile, "Hey Kiddo!" I said to him.

"Hi Jordan! Lets go play." Lily said as she grabbed Jordan's hand and the two ran off to play.

As the kids were playing Lucas and I sat on a near by bench watching them. I couldn't help but smile at how well the two kids played together. They really did have such a fun time together.

"So I was a bit surprised by this." Lucas said and I turned to look at him.

"By what?" I asked confused.

"Just that you wanted to set them up on a play date so soon." he replied and then I suddenly got worried that maybe he wasn't into it.

"I really wanted to see you again and was trying to think of a way we could do it that would involve the kids so that you didn't have to send Jordan off to a babysitter again." I replied. "I'm sorry was it too soon?"

"No, Maya of course not! You don't know how happy I was when I got that text. This worked out perfect." he said with a smile.

"Okay good because Lily was so excited when I told her she'd be able to play with Jordan." I said with a smile.

"Jordan was super excited too." he replied.

Lucas and I were sitting there chatting when a friend of mine named Shannon showed up with her 8 year old niece Ashley who visiting. I asked her if she could keep watch on the kids for me while Lucas and I went for a walk. When she agreed I told Lily that Shannon and Ashley were here which she was very excited about. I also explained to her and Jordan that me and Lucas would be right back and that I was going to show him something in the park. Lucas gave me a questioning look when I had asked Shannon to watch the kids but he went with it. My intention was just go outside of the playground enough that the kids wouldn't see us. Once out of their view I grabbed Lucas's hand and pulled him to a near by bench.

"I'm confused. What are we doing." he asked and I just grinned at him as I sat down on his lap putting my arm around him. He raised an eyebrow at me and I continued to not say anything instead I closed the gap between our faces and placed my lips on his. I felt him place his hand on my cheek pulling me closer as he smiled into my mouth.

After kissing for a few seconds we pulled a way and he looked at me with a smirk. "So that's what you wanted to do."

"Huckleberry, I have been wanting to do that since I got here but I didn't want to do it where the kids might see.

"I think I like the effect I'm having on you." he said and then pulled me closer to him and kissed me again.

"I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to keep this from Lily." I chuckled "It's becoming so hard because all I want to do is kiss you and cuddle with you."

"And?" he smirked.

"Perv." I grinned "I'm close but not there yet."

"In all seriousness though, I have an idea on how we can kind of make this work so I can see you." he replied.

"What is your idea?" I asked.

"Well, I am kind of in a bind with what to do with Jordan after school. His first week of school was no problem because I wanted to make sure that things were working out. Would it be possible for you to keep Jordan after school for me until I get off work at 5:00? I don't have anyone else to ask about it. Would that be okay with you?"

"I could do that for you. I think I really like that idea." I grinned.

Lucas and I kissed once more before going back into the playground area. The kids were completely clueless and hadn't caught onto anything. We allowed them to play a bit longer and then decided we better get going. I went home and made Lily a quick dinner and then got her in the bath before reading to her and singing her to sleep. Once she was out I texted Lucas and we texted back and forth for a bit before I nodded off to sleep. I was really liking where things were going with us.
