Lucas POV

I was so happy when Maya told me she would agree to do dinner with me. As unsure as I was about the whole dinner night that Riley put together in the end I was so thankful for her.  When Maya allowed me to kiss her twice and then kissed me the third time I couldn't have been happier. There was something about Maya really drew me to her and I think aside from her beauty it was her sense of humor.  Maya had the best sense of humor of any girl I have ever met and her laugh is so contagious. On top of all that she seems like such a wonderful Mother to her daughter Lily. I love that her and I had something in common and that we both agreed on the fact that the kids come first.

I'm so thankful for the fact that my best friend Zay and his girlfriend Vanessa live her in the city too. Without them being here I wouldn't have a babysitter which would make it more difficult for Maya and I to spend time together.  I was looking forward to today since Maya and I were going to be spending the day together. Zay and Vanessa were going to do something fun with Jordan in the city while Maya and I hung out. Maya had everything planned. Her plan was to take a ride n the Yacht owned by Farkle and Riley and then maybe do some site seeing in the city.

I showed up to Mayas at roughly 11AM since that was the time she wanted me to come over. I rang the door bell and she answered within a few seconds. She was wearing jeans, a cute top, and her blonde hair was flowing beautifully on her shoulders.

"You looks so cute, short stack." I said and her lips curled up into a smile.

"You don't look too bad yourself, Ranger Rick." she chuckled. "You ready to go?"

"I'm ready when you are." I said with a grin.

"Alright let me grab my purse and we can get going." she said as she walked over to the kitchen counter and got her purse.

Maya and I took a Taxi to the docking area where the Yacht was at. I was really looking forward to seeing all the beautiful city views. Especially since it was such a gorgeous day out. When we arrived the Yacht captain was waiting for us. Maya said that Farkle had everything set up and that all we needed to do was get on there. The Yacht was really nice and big enough that we could really have our own privacy since no one else was on it.

As we were starting to move I turned to Maya and looked at her with a smile "This was such a great idea that you had." I said to her.

"I thought it would be great! Riley and Farkle have taken me on this before and the views of the cit are so beautiful. I figured being new here that you'd like to see it." she grinned.

"The city views aren't as nearly as a beautiful as you." I said causing her to blush.

"Thank you. You're too sweet and are pretty beautiful to look at too." she answered.

I chuckled "Yeah I've noticed that." I said and she glared at me.

"I was really hoping you wouldn't notice." she giggled.

"Not like I haven't checked you out when you weren't looking." I said and she chuckled.

Maya walked over and sat on the bench type seat on the end of the Yacht. I went over and sat down beside her. I put my arm around her and she cuddled into me. I really liked this closeness with her.

"You okay with this?" I said making sure she really was okay with me holding her.

"Yes, of course. Why wouldn't I be?" she asked with a confused look on her face.

"I just didn't want to go to far with you as I know you were unsure of things in the beginning." I answered truthfully.

"Nope this is fine." she smiled.  "It's been awhile since I have cuddled with a guy before so I like this. I've actually missed it."

"Okay good." I replied. "But please if you get unconformable or anything tell me. " I replied.

"I will. I promise." she said.

"I really did just want to start off getting to know you more because of the kids but the more I get to know you the more I start to really like you." I admitted.

"In all honesty the moment I set eyes on you I knew there was something different about you than any other guy I've met before." she replied. "I really like you too, Lucas."

"I can say the same thing about you. I know I already told you but I haven't dated anyone since Jordan's mom. Not to say I didn't have a fling here or there but nothing really too serious." I replied. "You're just different."

Maya and I sat there for awhile just watching the view of the city as we rode in the boat. After a little bit she went down into the bottom part of the Yacht and told the chef that we we were ready for lunch. The chef had made us Sushi and it was delicious. After we got done eating we went and sat back down on the bench again.

"Today has been perfect so far. Thank you Maya." I said with a smile.

"It really has been perfect hasn't it?" she said and then leaned in kissing me softly on the lips.

I started to pull away but she pulled me back to her kissing me more intensely than she did before.  I felt her smile into my face and I took my tongue tracing it along her bottom lip. She opened her mouth allowing my tongue entrance. I felt her hands go through my hair pulling me closer to her. Once we broke a part I looked at her and smiled.

"I love kissing you." I grinned at her.

I looked into Maya's beautiful blue eyes and she smiled at me. I felt her take her fingers tracing it along my jawline.

"I really love kissing you too." she replied before leaning into me and laying her head on my chest.
