Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 52

A/N: There are some changes made to this epilogue due to a huge inconsistency with Finley and Lily's age gap. I forgot that Finley was 6 years younger so I'm going to re-do this. Also Emma Minkus is 15 now but there is a backstory that involves her. A lot of the the same I just brought in a new character and a new backstory involving Emma which you can read towards the end. I also added some new content so I recommend just kind reading it over. BTW Finley is only 18 here. :) 

EPILOGUE

Maya POV

I walked into the bridal room of the beautiful church. I couldn't believe that my 24 year old daughter was getting married today. The time has flown by so very fast. Lily and Jordan were 24 years old, and the twins were now 17 years old. Lily looked absolutely flawless in her wedding dress.  

"You look beautiful baby." I said causing her to turn around. 

"You think so? Do you think he will like it?" she asked. 

"Yes, he's going to love it." I replied. 

"You'll think he'll love me even when my belly starts to grow?" Lily said to me and I chuckled. 

"Yes, baby. I had that same fear when I was pregnant with the twins. You two are perfect for each other. It's all going to be fine. Stop worrying." I said to her and she smiled at me.

"Mom, I wish Dad was here." she said and I could tell this was going to be a very hard today for her. 

Caleb passed away due to a tragic car accident 2 years ago. Lily has really struggled with it but with the help of family it has got her through. No one should ever have to lose their father that young of an age. 

"I know you do baby. He's with you maybe not physically but he's here in spirit. This is going to be a hard day for you but you'll get through it." I said as I wiped the tears away. 

"I'm so thankful for Lucas. If I couldn't have Daddy walk me down the aisle then I couldn't imagine anyone else other than Lucas to do it for me." she said with a smile. 

"Daddy's perfect for it." Laekyn said as she walked into the room.  "It will be okay Lily." 

I watched as Laekyn hugged her sister tightly. Lakey and Lily had their moments of not getting along which was normal when you're a teenager and you have younger siblings. However as they got older the closer they got. 

"I know Lakey." Lily replied with a smile. 

"Dad, would be proud of you Lily." Kayla said as she walked into the room. 

"He would be very proud." Cara said as she came in the room with Kayla.

Lily's wedding was also small. She had her best friend and two sisters as part of the wedding party. Kayla had recently turned 21 and while Lily doesn't see her often she still wanted her in the wedding because that's her sister. 

"I know he would." Lily said. 

Riley entered the room and she looked so cute. 

"I think everything is ready now. Things will start in about 20 minutes" Riley said as she made her way into the room. "You look beautiful babe."  

"Thank's, Aunt Riley." Lily replied.

We were all talking among each other when Jordan and Finley came into the room. They walked up to Lily and smiled. 

"Just needed to come here and have a talk with my sister." he said as he walked up to us. "You look beautiful Lil." 

"Thanks, Jordan." Lily smiled. 

"Listen I just want you to know that Finley and I already told him if he hurts you I'll kick his ass." Jordan said replied. 

"And I told him that I'd help Jordan kick his ass if ever hurt you." Finley chimed in.

"Language." my mom and Riley said at the same time. 

"Sorry Mom but I had to." Jordan shrugged. "Dad's ready for you, Lil." 

"Yeah, sorry Mom" Finley replied."Lets get going." 

Lily POV

Today I was marrying the love of my life and the most difficult thing about this day is that my dad wasn't here to walk me down the aisle. While I had Lucas who was like a dad to me it just wasn't the same but I knew that Dad would want me to get through it. We made our way out to get ready to walk down the aisle. Jordan had left to to go back into the church. Mom and Aunt Riley had went with him leaving it only so it was Lucas and I.  I looked up at him and smiled. Growing up I always hoped that I would have a love like my mom and Lucas share. Luckily for me Aidan was everything to me and treated me so well. He lived up to having the love that I wanted like my mom and Lucas have. 

"How you doing princess?" Lucas said with a smile. 

"I'm okay. This is tough." I replied. 

"I know it is but you'll get through it." he said to me. 

"Yeah but it just sucks. Thank you so much for walking me down the aisle. If I couldn't have Daddy then I wouldn't have anyone else but you." I said to him. 

"You're welcome, Lily. I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm honored you asked me to do it." he said to me. 

"Lucas, what if he changes his mind?" I said to him. 

"He won't. I see the way he looks at you, Lily. It's that same look that I give your Mom. He loves you with all of his being. I can tell." Lucas replied. 

"I hope so. I always hoped as a little girl that I would find love like you and Mom. You guys love is so inspiring." I said to him and he smiled at me. 

"You and Aiden are just as inspiring. You are like the new Maya and Lucas" Lucas said and I couldn't help but chuckle. 

"I guess we are like you two aren't we?" I replied. 

"It's crazy how similar the story of you and Aiden meeting is to me your and Moms' He chuckled.  

"I take that as a compliment because your love story is inspiring too." I answered. "I'll always be a  fan of your love story with Mom." 

"Good, girl." Lucas answered. 

"Thanks for always treating my mom so good, Lucas." I said and he grinned at me. 

"I love your Mom very much." he replied. 

"I know you do." I said to him. 

I linked my arm with Lucas's an waited for it was time to us to walk down the aisle.  As nervous as I was I couldn't wait to get to the end of the alter to see my other half.  As we walked down the aisle I couldn't help but think of what Lucas said. He was right about the fact that how Aiden and I met was very similar to the way he and Mom met. Aiden and I have been together for 4 years now but we never rushed into a relationship. I was only 20 years old when I met him and I have Aunt Riley to thank for that. 4 years ago I was leaving work when I received a text from Aunt Riley asking me to pick up Emma after school. I told her that would be no problem and picked up Emma when I arrived there was a handsome young man 2 years older than me that just so happened to the substitute teacher that day. Mr. Aiden Thompson was his name and it was love at first sight just like my mom and Lucas . As reached the alter I looked at my handsome man waiting for me with a smile on his face. I felt so loved and couldn't wait to start our family together.
